Price is not commensurate with the facility; Small room, with even smaller bathroom; Wifi curfew (wifi was off by 10:52 PM, and wasn't on until we reminded them until 8:05 AM); Breakfast is simple and no place to eat except on the small desk in the room; small towel, and no air condition. Don't know why some travelers think that... More

I did a thorough review in my blog, nodirectionsknown. Google it. I'm not sure of Trip's policy on including links. I'll summarise it. Good points: view, quite good. Room is on 6th floor, served by 2 lifts. Reasonable price. Bad points: SMALL, especially if there are 3 of you. I'd like to see the room some of the other reviewers... More

We wanted to stay in the B&B but there were no free rooms so we accepted to stay in another flat owned by the couple running the B&B. The price was the same although no breakfast was provided. Another inconvenience was the lack of access to a kitchen. The owners were helpful (to the extent that they even drove their... More

We stayed at Isabella's 4 nights in the whole, 2 in a triple room, 2 in a double one. Isabella is a very friendly hostess, though sometimes too much "familiar". The pension is really cosy and clean. The position is not bad for the sea (Playa de Ondarreta is only 5 minutes walking), but not really convenient for the Casco... More

I stayed at Hostal Isabella in September and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Isabella herself was incredibly friendly and helped me to make the most of my stay in Donostia. The room was massive and exactly what I needed - ie it had a comfortable bed! The walk round the bay is beautiful as well.

We spent the whole week at isabella b&b and we enjoied it! The room was clean, tidy and confortable; free wifi available, simple but tasty breakfast. Great position, just two minutes walking up to Ondarreta beach or to the bus stop to reach downtown (in a while). Most of all we enjoied the mood: very friendly, smiling and smart people,... More

Isabella runs this friendly B&B in San Sebastian. She was a great host, knowledgable and friendly. Her English is very good which was helpful as my Spanish is basic. When you reach the apartment you will find that parking is limited to 15 mins outside and the parking enforcement officers are numerous. So you can unload your car and move... More

This lovely B&B in the Antiguo area, right on several bus lines, was perfect for our visit to San Sebastian. The owners were delightful and gave us excellent advice on where to eat and where to visit on our continuing trip along the north shore of Spain. It's a relaxing 20 minute walk along the beachfront to the Parte Vieja... More

When we arrived we were disappointed at first to find a private flat in an apartment building. Altough Isabelle said that free parking was nearby,it was difficult to find a parkingspot. The one we found was a few blocks away which didn't feel secure. When we used the car once, it took us ages again to find a parkingspace. The... More

The room was simple and spotless, with everything we needed. The location was quiet and well away from the main tourist area. We were 2 blocks from the beach, and lovely walk to the old city, but could easily take a bus if one wanted. Isabella is very sweet and very helpful and knowledgeable. Her husband is also very kind.... More
