I was at the hotel for two nights and i had a great stay. The hotel has a restaurant and a cafe in the lobby. The rooms are very clean and roomy. Getting to the hotel was a challenge since the public transportation can get a little confusing at times. I wouldn't suggest walking because it is at the top... More

A 30 min walk to the old town, and a 10 Euro taxi ride back due to the elevation of the hotel. Situated in a residential area, nice an leafy. Room quite large with very clean and comfortable twin beds, with nice linens and towels. Mini bar extortionate, and so was breakfast (so we didn't bother with them). Big TV... More

We had three single beds in our room, imitation wood flooring and no fridge so it did feel a bit like a hostel. We were also located near the central stairwell and on the first floor so the noise from the restaurant/function room and the bar carried a little too well. Even though it was on the hill above the... More

Spent one night at the Palacio and really enjoyed our stay. We actually had made a small mistake when booking our reservation but management sorted it out in no time, a big plus on such a busy weekend. While not close to city center, taxi into town costed less than 8 euros.

We stayed here for just one night en route to our home in southern Spain. The hotel is uber-clean and the room was perfect. We loved the piped music. The staff were really informative and helpful and gave us two 15% discount vouchers, one for dinner, the other for breakfast. Dinner was fine, but the breakfast buffet was not. The... More

The hotel is a little way out of town, but all of the information does tell you this. The bus service is very easy to use and only about 200m from the hotel (albeit up a steep hill) and we had no problem getting in and out of town. There is so much to see in San Sebastian we only... More

Stayed here for 3 nights 2,3,4 March for my birthday. Upgraded to better room with super view. Restaurant was great with a super 3 course meal with wine and coffee only 14 euro and we received 15% off with voucher. Staff all friendly and efficient. Room large and very comfortable and spotless. No complaints at all.

All areas of the hotel worked well, check in, reception, the bar and restaurant. It was clean, good bathroom, comfortable beds and quiet spacious. Staff were efficient and helpful, we did not have a set breakfast but opted for just a coffee and sandwich for breakfast which was tasty and served with a smile. There was parking at the front... Location The hotel is located in the calm, but distant area quite far from the city center of beautiful San Sebastian. Reachable by car or by taxi. For extreme explorers, there are some buses, their stops are rather distant. Never tried bus from the hotel, it will almost inevitable lead to loss of 30 minutes of time for going to... More

Our stay here got off to a bit of a sticky start as we’d requested a few times (and well in advance) a quiet room on a high floor with a balcony. As it was, we were allocated one on the first floor with no balcony and right above the (rather excellent) busy café. The hotel was full so we... More
