Very friendly staff. This hotel is in Idalgo which is the mountain overlooking San Sabestian from the east. Free parking. Not much to do up here so plan on eating down the mountain. Fernacular (cable car) is 4 euro plus 2 euro entrance to amusement park which is about a 10 minute walk. Bus runs to Old Town every 30... More

The lucky clients get the sea view, the unlucky clients get car passing every 5 min on a bad bed on the hill side. Everybody get the cockerel and his friends crowing from 5am, Pitty there is no a hungry fox around. if you plan on stay here also avoid saturday nights, since no attention has being paid to insulation... The hotel is beautiful, homely and has a spectacular view of the bay. We only stayed here for one night but got an upgrade to ocean view triple room. At night, the lighthouse on the cliff was shining the light through our window. It's a great experience! The hotel has a great location. Just a few minutes drive to the... More

This hotel was booked based on tripadviser reviews, plus the fact it had free parking and a bus passing every 30 minutes going into the old town. The receptionist gave loads of information at check-in and a really handy map for getting around. The room was nice and had a balcony and a fabulous sea view. Breakfast was a few... More

Just returned from 5 days in Donostia with 4 nights at the Leku Eder. Not a fancy hotel but the staff and its position make it exceptional for a stay. All is clean, breakfast is Spanish but as much as you need. Rooms overlooking the Bay of Biscay are brilliant - even when low cloud limits the view! Also a... More

We booked based on Tripadvosor reviews, and were not disappointed. We had a basement room (006), good space, big terrace, very nice view. Spotless clean. Only soap is provided so take the other basics with. Breakfast was typical continental for Spain - jamon, cheese, croissants, bread, yogurt, great coffee. And a view. We did not use the bus, we walked... More

Breakfast overlooking the Atlantic. Nice dark comfortable rooms, just renovated, with free wifi, excellent breakfast. Only downside was no english speakjng tv and a garish looking pink ish colour on the outside of the hotel. Convenient to san sabastian but take care with navman from the donostrian side.

Good choice for San Sebastian, especially if you drive (parking is free).Best to book way in advance and try to get the rooms with an ocean view, which are also the furthest from the road-the others can be noisy. The staff (especially the gentleman working weekday shifts)is outstanding.

This is an interesting alternative to a hotel in the city, being a couple of miles out on the hillside with great views. Try to get a sea view. Free parking and a frequent cheap bus service to take you into the city so you can let yourself go on the tapas. The only slight problem being the bus stops... More
