This is a nice 4-star hotel in San Sebastian, but the location is less than perfect. You need to walk 30min to the City Center or Old City or take a cab (EUR 7-8). It was very cold in mid March during our 2-night stay (very windy 9C or about 48F), so walking both ways was out of question. High... more

We booked this through Rates To Go and they did not inform us the hotel was doing substantial rebuilding. The hotel was not particularly apologetic about the noise which was deafening. They were still working in the early evening at the time people return from business or pleasure to bathe and prepare to go out for dinner. Of course, hotels... more

We stayed here for one night. My advice; Booking: My advice is get a room on a high floor. We were on the first floor and subjected to very loud music coming through the floor from the bar until 2am. Reception were unable to do anything about it. I've seen other reports of this on TripAdvisor, so I guess it's... more

This hotel is about a ten minute walk from Ondeterra beach. So may be not straight on the beach but I think is near enough. A quiet area with a lovely swimming pool. The Bar is a bit soul less but open till 2am so who's complaining?! It seems quite Business like when you go in but I thought it... more

This hotel booking was selected by AHI Tours for my university travel program. The hotel is spacious and I was assigned a room with a very large terrace facing the front - but the rainy weather prevented me from enjoying it. There is no scenic view from this property. The interior decor was not memorable. A public bus stops right... more

October 1-6,2007 Attending a tour with AHI International, my senior citizen mother and I were assigned a room that was clean but I wouldn't call it stylish. This being my first time to San Sebastian I didn't realize that it rains more than in Seattle, Washington! We stayed here for five nights and the first night was fine. On the... more

Hotel is nice, clean, staff is friendly. A huge plus is that it has its own parking lot, which was very convenient for us as we pulled in late at night. Parking was a bit overpriced though... but well worth it after several hours of driving. That being said, the hotel is pretty far from the old part of town,... more

Fortunately only stayed for two nights - one of the most expensive we stayed in on our two week trip and the least impressive! Not being able to find our booking on arrival wasn't so bad and was easily remedied. However room then booked was dull, dated and had building works going on around and noisy plumbing which kept us... more

First the location. The hotel is about 500 metres from the beach, and up a hill in the old part of town. I found this great as it enabled me to work off those Poixtos (Tapas) that I kept eating. But also, because it off away from the usual haunts, you're not plagued by the bustle of more popular places.... more

We stayed in the Costa Vasca hotel for three nights. The Friday and Saturday night there is a disco that will NOT let you sleep until 3 am! We called reception to complain and all they told us was that the disco was independent from the Hotel. Never mind that the disco is located in the hotel. Walls are as... more
