San Sebastian is a very special place. Hotel Niza is in the middle of everything. Our room, with a balcony overlooking the bay (playa la kontxa), allowed us to appreciate the intrinsic beauty of this region. It's enviable location is central to shops, restaurants, attractions and markets. The hotel is clean and well managed and its restaurant, Narrú, is very... More

Hotel is a great location, handy to bars, restaurants and overlooks the beach. We got a great room rate on booking.com. Rooms were tidy and basic. Staff were very helpful with tourist information. Underground parking was available at an extra €15 per day. Next time, would like to upgrade to a seaview room!

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay. For a view like this, I would have slept on the floor. No need though as the beds were really comfortable. Quaint lift with friendly and helpful staff at reception. Ten minute walk along the prom to old town. Fifteen minute walk in the opposite direction for 'Combs of the... More

We stayed three nights here for our visit to San S. The hotel is modern, yet the best of being European. The location is the very best-- right on the boardwalk and only 10 minutes to the old town You won't be disappointed. Breakfast buffet very nice and bar service in evening by the sea beautiful. The city is wonderful... More

We were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor of the hotel, the comfortable though small rooms, it's excellent location and good restaurant. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The proximity to the beach promenade made it very special and it was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the Old Town where all the Tapas Bars and... This hotel is just special – I have been fortunate to stay in this hotel twice and have rooms facing the ocean – I think it's probably the best hotel in San Sebastian simply because of its location – it's close to old town and also to Monte Igueldo - The views from the hotel are amazing and it's virtually... Pro: Nice old and classic hotel with a good location - everything is in walking distance. We had a pleasant room with a beautiful view over the ocean, and the staff was friendly. Con: The internet connection was unstable.

I stayed here for one night when I was hiking the Camino del Northe through the coast of Spain. I arrived dirty and a little confused after a long days hike but was greeted by a friendly staff. The room I received was very tiny but completely clean and everything inside was new. As for the location it can hardly... More

Came here during the off season for San Sebastian, and the hotel was relatively empty (so is the town) which was great! Staff were amazing and gave us the top floor ocean facing suite. Views were absolutely amazing, and get to sleep listening to the waves in the bay. Location can't be beat, as your 5 minute walk from the... More

We had three nights mid week in this hotel on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the beach, very pleasant room well appointed No air conditioning, but you can open the large window and listen to the sea.The lift is a little small and can be slow being over one hundred years old. The bar area also serves breakfast... More
