Really nice stay- thanks to super friendly and helpful staff, perfectly working wifi and great location. Couldn't have asked for anything more for the price we paid. It's not a party place but really close to nice bars and great night pinxtos area. Thanks a lot!

The staff were wonderful - a welcome drink on arrival, advice about places to visit and a list of recommendations for tapas bars and restaurants to visit. The hotel is located on the edge of the centre of town but still only 500 metres from the beach. Free parking. People visiting need to appreciate that it is a very popular... More

This place is very nice, located near the beach and walking distance to the rest of town. Very clean and spacious room. Super friendly staff that helped us with a map and suggestions on what to see and where to eat. Comfortable and sunny environment. Definitely suggest it and would stay there again!

Pros: The location. located less than 200 m from Zurriola beach and less than 15 minutes walk from the old city. There is parking lot and a wifi connection Cons: If the room is clean, it could clearly be refurbished. The room has no charm at all. The wall are very thin and you can clearly hear what your neighbors... More

Easy to access, free off street parking and a welcoming coffee introduced us to this simple, clean and comfortable hotel. WiFi connection good and consistent. Breakfast simple but good and sufficient. Short walk to the beaches. Only minor criticism - walls paper thin and can hear EVERYTHING!

Six middle aged men on a mostly gently beery trip to northern Spain. So we were looking for somewhere at the cheaper end of the hotel spectrum due to a couple of us being short of a bob or two when it was booked, so we ended up looking at the Hotel Record. It's a five minute walk down to... More

We like staying in Gros because it tends to be quieter. The Hotel Record meets these requirements. 10 minute walk to Zurriola beach, 25 minute walk to Parte Vieja, (or bus 13) if you don't want to walk. Gros has some good pintxo bars as well but the real action is in the Parte Vieja. Hotel Record has clean comfortable... More

I would have to give a very high rating feedback for our 2 day stay at the Hotel Record in San Sebastián, Spain. The hotel is in the Old City and the streets of San Sebastian's old city are packed with pintxos groups moving from bar to bar. You can always tell the best pintxos bars because they've got the... Located several minutes walk to the beach and convenient to the many restaurants/bars/cafes and supermarket. Room was fairly large, clean, and sparsely furnished. Staff were moderately helpful. Good WIFI reception. I booked through Booking.com without really doing much comparisons. I only stayed one night. If I ever visit San Sebastian again, I would look elsewhere for something better in the... More

We respect ranking within TP but ae sometimes surprised. Record ranks high for location as it is close to the city but it should be lower elsewhere. We stayed for two nights. Service: Registration and room allocation were smooth, but staff there lacked knowledge in most other areas: hop on hop off bus, bicycle rental, other bus routes etc. Need... More
