Great location as only 5 minutes from the beach and 15/20 minutes to the old town ( by foot) . Bedroom and bathroom very bright and clean - not huge but large bed and air conditioning that worked very well. Overall could not be faulted at a very reasonable price in a beautiful city- a gem

Kindness is the first idea that we got, just when we checked in. The staff gave us any information we asked for, including wise tips to park our car. We found the room wide enough, the bathrom was complete and perfectly clean. We liked the hotel, as much as we liked the bar next to the main entrance. But sorry,... More

This a very modern and pleasant hotel Our large room 607 overlooked the harbour and the sea. 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach and 30 minutes walk along Paseo Concha to the old town. Parking is possible with a reservation but beware of parking in the street. The hotel staff told me that parking on Sundays was free in... More

A modern characterless hotel (3*). Functional. No fluffy extras. No restaurant (just a breakfast room in the basement). But, excellent staff and a great base. The noise of a very busy road outside can be a challenge which means you leave the double glazing closed. The hotel is A/C. Rooms all have the essentials including a fridge (& free water)... More

- close to beach. 5 mins - bit of a walk to city center. 20 mins - helpful reception - nearby on street parking for 3,50 a day. - room is basic and clean. Although the hotel is on a busy street the noise is not a problem. Higher floors have better view on the sea.

We chose to stay at the Hotel Codina because of its location. It is well served by the 5 & 25 buses which will get you to central San Sebastian, the Ondaretta beach is less than 5 minutes away and generally the area is less frenetic than the old part of San Sebastion, which is a bus ride, or 15... We stayed here two nights during our vacation and had a room in the 6th floor. It was very easy to get into the old town with bus 5 or 25 just outside the hotel. Breakfast was ok, but not more. The room was quite small and had no place for the suitcase. Plus for safe in the room and... More

Lovely location and nice clean rooms. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Probably longer as we only stayed one night as driving to Ibiza. Breakfast very good. Car parking safe and secure. San Sebastián lovely beach and nice walk along promenade. Found nice bar serving tapas and met some friendly locals. Overall excellent stay and would do again.

This is a hotel that will not win prizes for design, cosiness or atmosphere but it does not promise these things. The location is near the Ondaretta beach and Monte Igueldo. So great for the beach, as Ondaretta is probably the nicest patch of sand in San Sebastian, where the ebbs and flows are not as prominent as on Concha.... More

Hotel Codina is conveniently located close to the Ondarreta beach and the University, at about 25 minutes walking distance from the center. It has a somewhat fair price for the quality. However rooms are a bit small and quite noisy (on every side of the building), I was at the second floor and had to shut every window to reduce... More
