The owner of the pension was great in giving tips about san sebastian, even though he spoke hardly any english it worked with french, spanish and body language! Nice rooms, quiet place but excellent location in the central parts.

As a solo traveller, I moved to this place after a few days in a surfers hostel in the city centre. The change was unbelievable. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable (goodbye bunk beds!), there were no queues for the bathrooms. The staff were superhelpful and I really really enjoyed my stay there.

This is a wonderful youth hostel to stay in. Manuel, the owner, could"nt be nicer. He helped us find a wonderful restaurant to have paella and wine and was a great overall help. The rooms were clean and simple. If you're going to stay in a youth hostel, this is the one to be in.
