My family stayed two nights in this hotel and everyone was happy with the choice. It's a clean and well-managed hotel in a great location about 10-15 minutes from San Sebastian. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The only negative with this hotel is the spotty wifi. At least half the time it didn't work. We had a... More

4 of us stayed here for 2 days as part of a motorbike tour in Northern Spain. We had booked the larger rooms which were huge, spotless and had balcony views to the garden area.Lovely gardens and covered pergola to sit in. The staff were incredibly helpful (even got cloths and a bucket of soapy water for us to clean... More

This hotel i not in the best location, as it is somewhat far from San. Sebastian center. But the hotel is nice for a 2 star, and has nice sorroundings. The main problem was the pool, with some dirty leftoiver water, creating a great place for mosquitos to develop. The Hotel was full of mosquitos, and I`m sure that has... More

For car drivers only. beautiful atlandic view, clean and friendly hotel in country side, all the lovely country sounds, no elevator no aircon but who cares when you hear, smell and refreshed by the ocean at night.

We couldn't find any place closer in due to Bruce Springsteen concert, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay. True, the rooms are somewhat dated, but it was clean and comfortable, with a very helpful and nice staff. It's super easy to take the bus into the heart of San Sebastian, and the free parking was a real... More

It's a pretty location on a hill to the west of San Sebastian. Is easily accessible by car and there's also a regular and reliable bus stopping nearby which runs to and from the town. The hotel was well maintained, had a good buffet style breakfast, and the staff on reception were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the hotel had a... More

A group of us stayed here for 1 night, it is out of town and you would need a car to get there but the views are beautiful. The hotel from the outside looks nice, playground, patio area and a water feature. We checked in and were given an apartment which was the building beside the hotel - the one... More

Nice place to rest after noisy Donostia however a bit far from the town. The bus every 30 min is a better way to go then a car - expensive and full parking places. Friendly, English spoken reception staff, tasty food, good breakfast. Big green area around.

The room is nice – clean, spacious, quiet, comfy + our room’s balcony faces the sea; shower is nice too; they have a built-in restaurant and the set menu for dinner of three course costs about 13Euro (not incl. tax, incl. drinks though); parking – free; in the lobby there’s free internet; I also like the family-friendly environment on its... We stayed two nights at the Hotel Nicol's as part of a tour of North West Spain, scouting for future holiday destinations. We stayed at two other hotels later in the week in different destinations but they did not live up to the value and service of Nicol's but were twice as expensive. The hotel is a 10 minute car...
