Made very welcome here. The landlady could not do enough. Its comfortable and close to the cathedral and beach. She even made an extra bed up in the room when I mentioned a friend might stay over. Have no hesitation in recommending this guesthouse.

It's located 15 min walking from city centre. Mattress was very conformable. Clean and just be aware if you have a car that it could be difficult to get parking. Good choice for a budget value. Maybe a kitchen could be a good for this pension because it hasn't

We were greated by a lovely lady, who got us settled in, gave us a map of San Sebastian, and also called the bike hire company that we had hired bikes off as they were delivering them to the pension that day - she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's in a good... More

Fany is great value when staying in San Seb, especially during the high season, when prices can get out of control. It is situated in the new town, and about a 10 minute walk to the old town, super close to the shops though. The staff there were great, not a lot of english, but they were super friendly and... Pension Fany is a great value and perfectly located, if you are arriving by train. It is near to and between the two train stations in San Sebastian, and its easy to find since it's only a block away from a large cathedral. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a ball on our tapas crawl and Fany helped... More

The pension takes the whole upper floor of a handsome building very close to the cathedral. Although it's a short walk from the main grid of bars and restaurants we found this an advantage as it's relatively quiet. Anyway, there are plenty of non-touristy local bars in the vicinity. The room - while not luxury - was certainly clean and... More

Situated a 5 min walk from the local railway station and 7 min walk from the large railway station. We didn’t need to take any public transport in San Sebastian and this pension was very close to the beach and in turn all the eateries and tapas bars. We paid 55 euro a night and got a triple room, not... More
