Pensión Balerdi is located right in the heart of the Old Town. It's 5mins walk to beaches, nightclubs and right around the corner from some of the best tapas bars you'll ever go to. The staff are so friendly and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. This is a great place to stay and very affordable

If your looking for budget accommodation right in the center of Old Town, this is it. The Pension was clean and welcoming (outdated a tad, but felt homely). The bathrooms were fuelling functioning most of the time, besides the temperamental shower temperature. Nonetheless, it was a quaint place to stay whilst in San Sebastian.

Cheap & cheerful accommodation in the Old Town of San Sebastian. It is located at the top of 3 flights of stairs from an entrance on Calle San Juan. Keep your eyes peeled to find it! Staff friendly & helpful. Room decor was pleasant & had 3 beds and enough room for our two bicycles that had to be manhandled... More

On entering the building you get a strong smell of sewage. The room was VERY basic, paint chipping off the walls and ceiling. The noise from inside the place early in the morning was too much and it was coming from the lady that ran the place. The shower didnt work properly, either too hot or too cold. I could... More

Very well located if you want to be in the historic center, also around the corner of shopping mall. Very clean but the owner smokes in her apartment, if you have one of the rooms next to hers you will smell it. We kept our door closed and it was fine. Comfortable and heating was working (which was not the... More

We looked for a relatively cheap place to stay (San Sebastian is quite expensive) and discovered that there are a lot of pensions located in or near the old town. It was a bit difficult to find this pension, since we didn't realize that most of the pensions are located in an apartment building. This one covers the 2nd floor.... More

More
