I had a nice time while in San Sebastian. The staff was very helpful. The environment was very relaxed. The people that were from the area were more than willing to give free tours for a meal. I would come back.

I havent stayed in san sebastian before, and i booked this 'hostel' last minute but i didn't expect my stay to be of such poor quality. First off it was extremely hard to find, the address is a residential one, and there is no signage for which level is theirs, almost like someone is renting the building and the owners... More

I loved staying at this hostel! Although it's not a 5 star resort, but you shouldn't expect to find anything like that in San Seb, unless you're willing to pay $$$. I think the relaxed atmosphere at the hostel is perfect considering the location. I had a great room, with pretty standard beds, but was right in the middle of... More

WARNING: Only stay here if you're prepared to be stressed!! Booked a 4 bed dorm, received a 6 bed dorm (essentially paid more for less). At the time of booking, the owner offered the last two nights for a discounted rate. When we went to pay, he changed the wickets and demanded that we pay 5 euros more per night,... More

I stayed at surf backpackers during the jazz festival at the end of July and really enjoyed my stay here. It's a really chilled out hostel and a good place for solo travelers to meet nice people. The location is really good as well! They could do with more bathrooms on the reception level though as there's only one room... More

We went in a group, 3 girls and 2 guys, we rented the room they have for 5, the quality of the beds is really good, has two balconies, two bunk-beds and one single bed. The room does not have lock, so there are lockers for everyone. The bathroom is small and shared, there are two showers and one toilet... More

Ticks the boxes for a hostel. Cheap, clean (swept for sand each morning) and secure. However, bathroom situation is bad - only one as this is an apartment conversion. The owners are friendly enough even if the operation is all quite unprofessional/laid back depending on your point of view.

I have to say that we regretted staying here. This was completely because of the lack of bathroom facilities. There are dorm beds for 15-20 people and just one bathroom (shower and toilet in one). It is just a horrible experience having to queue for half an hour to use the toilet when you wake up in the morning. And... More
