We had a great stay at Pension Loinaz in July. Jose was a fabulous host and was so friendly and helpful to us. At the last minute we needed an extra bed in our triple room and he organised this for us immediately and was very accommodating. Being able to get our laundry done by his wife was super helpful... Good value for money, very clean and good location. Good WiFi but it was a bit hot in the rooms even with the windows open. Bit noisy at night but that is due to it's location in the middle of Old Town which is great during the day! We would stay here again.

Clean comfy rooms no air conditioning but tv and wifi, they dont clean it but only on arrival towels included. It can be a bit noisy out on the street but not so much that you cant sleep especially if you close the windows. There is only one bathroom with one shower and one toilet in each floor but we... The pension is right in the old part of the city where there are all of the famous pintxo bars, so it's a little loud at night. I also found it weird that they wanted to keep my passport until I paid in full for the room. Maybe this is normal but it made me nervous. The pension does not... More

Stayed 3 nights at this place. The ups: The host, Jose, was extremely nice and helpful. It is located dead centre of the old town. Very clean, free towels and linen. Free Wifi - worked fine in our room, apparently not others. The downs: Only down is that the old town is very very noisy. Even though there was no... More

Really great location and very secure! We got a twin room with a single and a double bed with a shared bathroom which was small but clean. The hostel has wi-fi access and a small tv. The hostel is right in the middle of the busy area-surrounded by pinxto bars and about five minute away from the beach which was... More

Great location. I have never been to Spain before and searching for hotels was a little difficult. Most of the major hotels were in another area and would make traveling to the the happening area of the city a little tedious. This hostel was in a great location and very secure. We got the single room on the second floor... More

Loinaz Pension is located in the middle of the old city... and in the middle of all the buzz of the pincho's bars and restaurants. Me and my boyfriend stayed in a room with a private bathroom. The room was located in another building, just in the corner of the Pension, the room was clean, with a small tv and... More

My boyfriend and I traveled to San Sebastian at the tail end of the film festival, so hotel and private room hostel prices for the first half of our stay were outrageous. We opted for this pension with a shared bathroom in order to not break the budget (rather, spend the budget at Mugaritz). The price was very affordable; however,... More

Upon arrival we buzzed the doorbell, only for the intercom system to ring up in some other hotel owned by the same owner to ask him to come over and open up. We had to wait for him with all of our belongings in a lonesome, dark, small street in the middle on the night while random drunks lingered around... More
