When booking this Hotel we were not aware we would be on the edge of what appeared to be a Ghetto, with interesting characters on every street corner and what appeared to be prostitutes roaming about, so our approach to the Hotel did fill us with some trepidation for our personal safety. When asking reception if it was safe to... More

I personally was not impressed by the poor state of the room. It is cheap, though, therefore you cannot ask for wonders. Very welcoming receptionist helping out with car parking situation. There are 2 hotel-owned locked parking spaces across the street.

I am a little surprised by some of the reviews. The Bilbi us a basic hotel, and the room prices reflect it. But it offers comfortable basic accommodation, secure parking and a good location. I can't fault it for the price.

For about 60 €/night this a really good choice. Comfortable beds, good cleaning, AC and a nice view from the room. Modern bathroom. The staff is very helpfull as well. The location is good, close to the city centre. Well, actually my preferred location would be around plaza Moyua, but this is good enough. Casco Viejo is too touristy. I... More

Like already mentioned in some of other reviews, you can meet quite lively characters near the hotel including over-aged punk rockers and maybe all the bars in neighborhood are not first or even second class but the feeling is local and people I talked to were nice. The neighborhood is definitely not in the clean tip top touristic heart of... More

A disappointing experience in the last two days in Bilbao!!! The position of the hotel is not bad, near the market and the old part of town. But the hotel was far from nice, the room as a tiny box with a bed in it, no closet or dresser but two sad shelves and three hangers, very old and beaten... More

I had a small room with a small balcony overlooking a very quiet street. It was a short walk to the old city, with the tram that takes you to the Guggenheim and other parts of town, and not much longer walk in the opposite direction to the heart of the city. The area between the hotel and downtown has... More

Liked that it was in a quiet area but yet near the old town as so often in Spain hotels can be facing onto noisy streets. The male staff member was very welcoming and genuinely friendly.Room was nice and good value for money.

This hotel is somewhat basic. It's listed as a 2-star hotel in Bilbao tourism literature and I struggled to see what features would be missing for it to be downgraded to 1-star. I guess reserved car parking and a passenger lift must help (as we managed to pick other hotels without either later on our trip). The area around the... More
