I stayed at the Pension Bilbao for four nights in late September 2014, booking online and paying a total of 176 Euros (room only). Breakfast was not available; however, there were at least three cafes serving reasonably priced breakfasts in the same street as the hotel. I have only positive things to say about this hotel, which I would definitely... More

A large, spotlessly clean room, with a modern shower etc, in an excellent position for the river, the old town, the railway station, the theatre, the cathedral and the various art galleries, and not expensive. Above all there's a super-helpful owner, who, when I'd given up hope, managed to mend a handle that was dropping off my suitcase. Three and... More

Awesome location halfway between Gugennheim and Old Town. A bit far from the bus station, but walkable nonetheless. Staff is super friendly, and (surprisingly for a such a small pension) stored a luggage securely for an entire day. Room is tiny of course, but clean and a window that fully opened. The bathroom was a little less than clean, but... More

Very good location near the old town, train station and metro, and about 10min walk to the Guggenheim. Smooth check-in despite our late flight, which meant we didn't arrive until nearly midnight. Staff were also helpful storing our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. Room and bed were comfortable enough, but there was very little sound installation... More

The room was very clean and tidy, double doors opening over the street, free wifi and bars for breakfast and drinks on the same street. Great position for exploring and good value for money!! The lift is very small but as the pension is on the 4th floor it is needed! The staff did not speak English but we managed... More

We booked the triple room and it was a good size with 3 individual beds. Excellent location. Lots of good eating places around for breakfast and in the heart of the shopping area, short walk to the old town. Friendly manager. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathroom - event the curtains had just been washed. I would definitely recommend others to... More

My boyfriend and I (aged 20), Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of August 2005. We were astonished with the quality of accommodation! It felt more like we were staying in a quality hotel than a pension. I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling on a budget , but who wants to stay somewhere a bit... More
