Superb modern hotel next to the river walk around to the Guggenheim. Drinks and food are expensive so go elsewhere. Had a room on the 10th (top) floor with a huge balcony that offered great views. Very hot whilst we were there so quite a suntrap. In town at the same time as an Atletico Bilbao European cup match -... More

And architecturally interesting and beautiful. Huge rooms and bathrooms. Fantastic swimming pool and spa. Would have liked a solarium..but nothing is perfect.....The closest Cafeteria, just a few meters to the right of the hotel have the best breakfast ever! for only 4 euros! freshly squeeze orange juice, the best coffee and a pincho (many choices there) tortilla; jamón ibérico, tostas... Honestly do not understand how this hotel gets 5 stars as it's faded a and in dire need of a refurb. The staff tried hard but frankly when I get complimentary chocolates that are teeming with ants one wonders .., definitely not at five star level by any stretch

Perfect location, a few minutes walk along the river from Guggenheim, and right next to a shoppingmall. Only 15 minutes taxi from airport. Great spacious rooms, very clean, huge bathrooms, great view, fantastic breakfast! Nice pool and gym. Beautiful hotel, great architecture! Free wifi worked well. Recommended.

I experienced first class and professional service from every staff member. Special thanks to Pedro for assistance with an early breakfast so I could get to the airport in time! Rooms were immaculately clean and I was able to check in early after my 10 hour trip.

I wouldn't disagree. Friendly staff on check-in which is in a hanger sized atrium with glass lifts (always a good idea) zooming up & down at what seemed like warp factor 9 Cool rooms with very trendy fixtures & fittings. Loved the leather drawer pulls (good grief is this the only thing I could differentiate the hotel on). If i... More

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nicely appointed, service was an issue. The front desk was understaffed at peak times, but the staff was quite helpful after the wait. Dinner service in the cafe was spotty and the food in the cafe subpar. Breakfast was an outstanding buffet. Wifi worked only sporadically.

We stayed for only one night after a 36 hour ferry crossing but the hotel and staff were wonderful. They checked us in early and gave us a great room. The rooms are very well decorated with beautiful bathrooms and very contemporary decor. We would definitely recommend it and will come back.

We had a great one night stay in this modern hotel near the Guggenheim. Not so near the Old Town, but you can walk it. Would recommend the tourist bus tour and the funicular (and the cafe at the top). We had a fairly spacious family room in the hotel, with a gorgeous bathroom. The kids loved the small heated... More

We arrived on August 20, in the middle of a huge city-wide celebration. We found the front desk service to be very attentive and we never had to wait more than the time it took for one customer in front of us to be helped. The staff even took the time to tell us about the program of events for... More
