We stayed at the Gran Hotel Domine for 2 nights before starting a cycling trip in Rioja. This is a beautiful modern hotel, with comfortable well-equipped rooms. It's worth it to pay a litle more for a view of the Guggenheim. Staff was exceptionally efficient and helpful. Parking was 17 Euro/day extra, which we did not know beforehand. The lovely room/unique bathroom and overall quality-value of the stay helped mitigate this fact. Also, there was some noisy construction at various times--thanfully, not during regular sleeping hours. more

We had a wonderful experience at the Gran Hotel Domine Bilbao. It is right across the street from the Guggenheim which was extremely convenient. Our rooms were ready early which is always a treat.
