Stayed at Hotel Ercilla for ten nights, the room was OK but the hotels location is great. Short distance from most Bilbao attractions (museum, restaurants and san mames). Breakfast is just average and chaotic. They claim they have a gym spa, but I wouldn't really say it is ... but the view from the gym is amazing, and since its... More

Stayed at Hotel Ercilla for three nigths during my first stay in Bilbao. The room was OK - nothing more and location is great. Short distance from most attractions (as most hotels in Bilbao I guess as the city is not that big). What I wasn't so impressed with was the traffic at the breakfast - or rather the limited... More

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the airport busstop. Wifi is free but I found the connection unstable. The room is quite spacious. There was noise in the (very) early morning due to indistinct street activities. Also the bar/lobby is very spacious. I did not have the hotel breakfast but had a tasteful and much cheaper... More

Nice staff, good location, 15 minutes walk to Guggenheim and 10 to Bell Arte. Good rooms and clean. Nice helpful staf at the desk. Slow WiFi in the rooms. If you want to visit Bilbao this is a good located hotel with excellent parking facilities.

I was in Bilbao center two days (one night). I had chosen this hotel because it's located in the center of the city. In my opinion it was good decision, the famous museum in Spain I located 8-10 minutes by foot- of course I'm talking about Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. The staff was so kind and friendly and the breakfast was... More

We chose the hotel because we thought it would be a good location. It it on a pedestrian street, with NO restaurants at all other than the two the hotel offers — a choice between loud and very ordinary, or expensive. This is a big hotel. The room was fine, but the bed was penitential. I went to the desk... More

The rooms were standard but what was bizarre is that my room on the first floor had a view of a fenced off concrete floor area with lots of large pieces of bread lying there. Whether this was a regular occurance or a one time thing I couldn't tell. WiFi worked very very slowly, but it worked. Can't comment on... More

Spent a night here on business - right in middle of city centre and easy to get to by taxi from airport (25 euros in taxi). Can walk to conference centre, river and right in middle of downtown. Nice bar in hotel. On 7th floor at back and overlooks a school playground - lot of noise in day but great... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, the twin room on the 6th floor was clean and a decent size, there was a well stocked bathroom too, great to see when you are just off a campsite! The only negatives where the frosty welcome at reception (we did look like vagrants I suppose), the weak WiFi signal in the rooms and the... More
