Very clean, excellent location and an extremely helpful staff. It's an older hotel, so some of the elements seem dated. But if you consider the price you are paying it is well worth it, and for me, it adds character to the property.

Nice place to stay. Comfortable, modern rooms. Good location - easy walks to all of the tourist attractions in the city. Drilling noise from work in the hotel a little annoying. Nothing special, though - four star feel rather than five star luxury. But a decent choice for a night.

Recently stayed two nights in this hotel. Would have thought it would have been busier being the peak season. That was an advantage as I enjoyed the space in the public rooms. The room was very clean and adequate. The breakfast was fine. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The location could not be better. Very central.... More

We booked this hotel thinking it would be fine for 2 nights. We were disappointed fairly quickly, when given one of their large rooms in the back looking into a depressing courtyard. We noticed the noise immediately. It comes from the rooms next door, the hallways, the plumbing running throughout the hotel. Pretty bad. On plumbing, the toilet almost overflowed... More

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews. For us it was disappointing after inspecting others close by when we got there. There were very few guests at what is peak season and I would be surprised if is still around given the great options close by in what is a very competitive market. It photographs well but the decor... More

Excellent location, staff really helpful. Very clean, modernised. Good value as well. Parking secure underground to the hotel and accessible at all times via the lift. Only slight negative the champagne bar closed early before my son arrived.

This is a wonderful little hotel in a perfect location for visiting the Guggenheim. It is very well decorated and kept up and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The standard rooms are a bit small and the (dark) striped wallpaper in them didn't do much for me, but we upgraded for 20 euro extra and our... More

We stayed here one night after late arrival in Bilbao. Great location in walking distance of the Guggenheim and the rest of the town. very modern hotel with great decor, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. expensive for food so we went out for late tapas and had breakfast near the Guggenheim at a great price.

For a night at the opera, we stayed over at the Ercilla, a modern 4-star with all the necessary amenities to satisfy a couple off for a romantic weekend or a businessman who needs comfort, concentration and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are perfectly equipped and spacious. Bathroom is ergonomic, well lit and well ventilated. Bed is... More

Have been returning to this hotel every time I visited Bilbao. It is a great little hotel well located within a very short walking distance of the main shopping area, the Guggenheim museum and to a number of very good restaurants and bars. Left my rented car at the door of the hotel and it was quickly driven to the... More
