Nice location and staff but everything just too old to be consider a 5 stars hotel. Also no pillow choise, and lack of many amenities. But if I was expecting a 4 stars, I'd say everything ok. Oh and you get internet acces for free if you ask for it.

I loved Bilbao! The hotel is nice and seems well regarded in the city. For those who would love a heritage hotel then this is fine but I would not consider it 5 star. Not all fixtures in the bathroom were working. And my window looked into the courtyard of what appears like an apartment complex.

In a good location for exploring the city: very patient, helpful and friendly staff accommodating our requests to test our Spanish and our needs for 'English style' coffee. It's officially a 5-star hotel, probably "Spanish five stars" ! But it's a real good address, quiet, clean, perfectly placed in walking distances for all interesting points of the center, with a fantastic breakfast buffet. Worth a visit the city, such as a hotel. Excellent location between the old and the new city. Small quiet hotel with good service and (positive) a special breakfast. Excellent choice for a romantic weekend. The rooms are quite small but offers everything you need.

Hotel was very central, which to go out for tapas was incredible! A quick walk away from the centre. The hotel itself is quite nicely done up although the rooms are actually a bit small. The bar at teh bottom is lovely and breakfast is very great - particualrly because you get pintxos! Staff extremely helpful and attentive.
