I wanted to like the Hotel Vetusta, but there wasn't a lot to like. The room was clean and neat, but so small that there was no room to leave a suitcase open--the whole time we stayed we had to keep our suitcases upright. The desk clerks were kind of unengaged and unengaging. The towels were kind of worn. The... More

We chose this hotel because of the proximity with the Cathedral in Oviedo, and the start of our walk on the Camino Primitivo. The room was comfortable, clean and with only very slight noise disturbance from the street outside. Would stay here again if staying in Oviedo, which is a very agreeable town, and well worth at least one day... More

I stayed in Hotel Vetusta for one night on my way to a youth exchange in Oviedo. Positives: The room was nice with plenty of room, I opted for a double bed which was 2 singles pushed together. The beds was hard but comfy. I was in the top floor of the hostel which met you had plenty sunlight and... More

We stayed two nights (mid September) and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at reception and adjacent cafetería, which is run by the same staff. We had a small, well-appointed room facing the main street. The hotel's central location allows visiting most attractions on foot.

This isn't by any stretch of the imagination worth 5 stars by itself. It is small and modest but heck for £33 a night it felt like stealing. Comfortable beds bit of traffic noise in the morning. I can't even remember the last time I was charged £33 early 1980s maybe. And Oviedo- what a place!! Beautiful ! Knocks the... More

The hotel is in an excellent central location. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean, and the place has genuine charm. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - although sometimes they struggle a bit with English. The cafe is available 24 hours a day to residents. Its range of savory food is limited (but no more so than other similar... More

Fantastic, helpful staff. They were happy to help and very friendly. A great reflection of the Asturian culture! The hotel has an excellent location close to everything! Bars, restaurants, old town, bus station! Everything you need! Was very impressed with all aspects and great value for money. We will return for sure

From Asturias Airport you can take a aerobus to Oviedo city center (or to Gijon), it's operated by Alsa, one-way ticket costs you €7.50 and you have a bus departing each hour. To Oviedo takes 45min. Once in Oviedo terminal bus you have to cross the main street and walk straight until you find a square at you right, and... More

This hotel is really well located between the old quarter and a new modern neighbourhood where you can also go for drinks and lunch/dinner, it is also walking distance to both train and bus stations. The room and bathroom are tiny but really nicely decorated, however, there was one thing that really put me off and that was the toilet... More

This hotel is quaint and modern with all you need! The rooms are clean and tidy and the location is excellent with less than a ten minute walk to the old town (Cathedral Square) and the train/bus stations and shopping areas. I've stayed here twice now and will be returning again this September. The best place I've stayed in Oviedo... More
