The days of glory for this hotel that was once the jewel of downtown Zaragoza have long passed. The only remainders of its heyday are the decadent wedding banquets that are held by the posh sons and daughters of well-to-do families. Once you've checked-in you realize that you could have chosen a more modern and comfortable place to spend a... More

This hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel and it is really more like a two star hotel. It's a grand old hotel that's lost it's glory and needs renovation. Room I was in was clean and average - but not 4 stars. Unless the room rates are low enough to compensate I would recommend another hotel of higher... More

We agree with comments about this grand old hotel being brought up to date .We booked through Expedia and it was exceptional value . Location ideal for the Old town .. staff very helpful ..with one very obvious exception .On arrival 1400 we were told room not ready and to "come back in half an hour" perhaps "would you like... This classic, elegant, with luxurious interiors in common. Looks like an old hotelm renovated with modern comforts. Excellent reception at the reception desk, advice for their stay, and help for the car and the car park (very difficult to find a free spot on the street in the center). Perfect room with wifi, large and modern bathroom. Continental breakfast in... More

This place is old but traditional with a new interior. You get the old styling with the convenience of the new interior. The breakfast selection is excellent, but a bit short on hot breakfast foods. Staff are very helpful, from parking the car, to helping with luggage, and providing directions. However, Even though wifi is free for hotel guests, they... More

My trip to the Gran Hotel was 50 years in the making. My mother and father lived in Zaragoza for three years in the early sixties and occasionally would have drinks in the lounge. My mom still had a book of matches from here. I was impressed the hotel still had the glamour of a high end hotel of that... More

This hotel was a lovely place to stay and an absolute bargain for the price we got on Expedia. The room was big and comfy, very clean, with nice wooden floors and big windows. Our bathroom had two sinks and the shower was amazing. The staff upon checkin and through our visit were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly the lady... More

This is a charm boutique hotel in the centre of Saragoça, a few steps away from the historic area. The rooms are a bit small, but they are quite comfortable. We loved the elevator in triangle since we never had seen one! We had a lot of fun!

This has been one of the classiest hotels in Zaragoza for decades and even though it is old it has maintained it's charm! My grandparents visited this hotel in the 1950s and so when I was planning a tour through Spain, this hotel was a must for me. The location is good and we walked to all the major sights... More

This hotel is located next to main street leading to old town. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the old town. Since it is just off the main street it is very quiet in a nice, posh neighborhood. The building is old and charming which has its advantages – it is charming and the common areas are great... More
