This hotel was only meant to be a short overnight stay. And on first impressions Zaragoza did not have too much to offer and the hotel was tricky to find, but it was worth the wait. Check in was a breeze, they even came out the front to help get all the bags. Parking is off site, which always concerns... More

Just eaten breakfast in hotel Sauce cafe after a comfortable night's sleep and refreshing shower. The hotel is small and friendly, situated close to lively Tubos tapas bars and beautiful old city. We stayed in room 407 on 4th floor which was a superior room with two Juliet balconies overlooking the narrow street. The room was large, comfortable bed, powerful... More

My first impression of this hotel was not overly positive. While the front desk was very courteous and helpful, when we got to our floor, everything appeared to be in disarray. There were laundry bags everywhere, the floor was dark, and the door to our room didn't work. Soon, however, we understood that the housekeeping folks were cleaning the rooms,... More

We found this hotel on Trip Advisor and all of the good things you can read are true. We arrived by train and the hotel offers a taxi service for pick up at the station and return for €25. You just have to email hotelsauce@hotelsauce.com and make arrangements for date, train and time. The rooms are small but the staff... More

This is a super hotel. It's a little gem, the rooms are clean, quiet , and comfortable. It couldn't be more central, near to the shops and attractions. Staff helpful and pleasant. There's a little cafe/bar attached which is great for breakfast, afternoon tea or cuppa in the evening. I would certainly stay here again.

The staff at this hotel are incredible helpful and friendly. A small family style run hotel that is located right in the heart of the tourist area of Zaragoza, only a few minutes walk to the Basilica, Cathedral and other tourist attractions. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I would say that for a 2 star hotel the... More

A boutique hotel apparently. Not too sure what this means - perhaps the keys being in what look like old tin cans behind the reception. However, not much time to take in the surroundings, we are too busy being given a virtual guided tour of the city by the very helpful reception staff. Their restaurant recommendation is particularly good -... More

the hotel is centrally located (close to Cathedral's square and to the area where the restourants and tapa bars are located), the price of the room was €49 (I was alone, but I had a twin room), breakfast was excellent, the room clean, the bed very good, the service was friedly and effecticve. Could you ask for anything more?

The staff was helpful, the room was bright, clean and comfy and the breakfast was tasty! It really exceeded expectations. The staff helped us get oriented upon arrival and recommended some sites and restaurants to try. The hotel is situated right in the center of old town and everything was in walking distance. We got cold walking around and it... More

My husband & I just enjoyed a stay at the fun Hotel Sauce. Small hotel with great attention to detail. Friendly staff. Everything went smoothly, from the add-on train station transfers to the lovely breakfast buffet. We spent time in Zaragoza after visiting Barcelona and highly recommend this smaller city's beautiful churches, Roman ruins, good food, and a trip to... More
