The location near the Pilar basilica is great, wifi is fast, rooms are comfortable. There are shops and restaurants very close. All of this is great but the best part of staying here is how incredibly accommodating the staff are...I was a pain in the butt guest. I needed a million items printed, I received a package, I lost my... More

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Get coffee shop just down the street as well as a great market. Many great places close by super tapas near by, great Internet, and just a nice friendly place to stay.

If you are driving, it is darn near impossible to get to this hotel. The maps and even our GPS led us astray. That having been said, I would stay here on EVERY visit to Saragoza/Zaragosa because of its staff (excellent) and accommodations (mid-level luxury with all amenities) and its convenience to a variety of sites, shopping, and dining. I... More

The Hotel is a result of a remodeling of an older building. They have done a really good job in preserving the bones of this older building, and very tastefully added a very modern reception and restaurant. The hotel is centrally located....a few minutes walk from any of the main attractions, restaurants and building. We found the staff to be... More

We booked into this hotel for both legs of our journey through Spain & we were so glad that we did as it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is superbly positioned in the city & the view we had over the square was very nice. It can get a bit noisy as the locals know how to party... More

I spent two nights at the Catalonia El Pilar Hotel and I found it to be a great location to sightsee Zaragoza and a very comfortable place to relax between outings. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and they try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. My room was larger than I have come to expect... More

We enjoyed staying here for our recent trip. It's a bit of a distance from the bus and train station, but there is a bus you can catch that takes you reasonably close to the hotel and then it's about a 10 minute walk. The hotel overlooks a small square, which is very pleasant, although it was occupied by some... More

We stayed at this hotel only one night but would not hesitate to go back if we ever visit Zaragoza again. This hotel is in a historical building, close to all the places of interest. Although it was across from one of the main plazas, and our room faced the square, we did not hear any noise. When we checked... More
