As we had a few days to spare between our stay in Madrid and catching the ferry in Barcelona, we thought we would stay in Zaragoza, half way between these two cities. Booked the hotel Avenida in Zaragoza the day before we would get there and arrived with bated breath to see what we had booked. This hotel is a... More

The room was large, bright and airy. The staff were helpful. The wifi in the room worked. Breakfast was included in the €42 charge for a double room. The hotel is right in the centre of the town. We were surprised it was only classed as a 2 star. Great value for money and well worth a visit. We were... More

Zaragoza is more expensive than Avila or Toledo for hotels, so this appears to be a good bargain for the budget city-visit traveller. Very central, just next to the old town. Parking available. My room (114) was small and functional, with a reasonable bathroom. Room had a small window to a lightshaft where aircon units stood. Little daylight and also... More

Nice and spacious room, very good location, helpful staff. But they could improve their breakfast (just jam and butter): with a few slices of cheese, it would be much better! Anyway, would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here last night as a first stop on our tour of Northern Spain. Ideal location opposite the central market hall a few metres from the old town and sights. Rooms are basic but very clean. No bar downstairs but able to get a beer or soft drink and snacks from vending machine. Vegetarian buffet breakfast included was sufficient consisting... More

We enjoyed our stay in Zaragoza, and this hotel was an important component. The hotel appeared to be family-run, and everyone was very helpful and pleasant. The lady who looked after the (good value) breakfast was particularly amiable. English was spoken, even enough to get us to the car park first time - this (as others remark) was not straightforward... More

We were looking for a centrally placed, economical hotel from which to explore Zaragoza - and this fit the bill. We paid 53 euros for a double room, including a (admittedly modest) breakfast and parking across the road in the underground car park. They didn't charge extra for our dog. The hotel is right opposite the central marketplace (where the... More

Hotel is clean and centrally located for sight seeing in Zaragosa. Breakfast is reasonable but uninspiring, bread, cereal and packaged croissants with tea and coffee. Rooms are quite large and the price is very good. The big problem with this hotel is the noise at night due to it being mainly populated by the Spanish who stay up late and... More
