The Alfonso is a smart, modern, contemporary styled hotel, right in the centre of this historic city. We arrived in Zaragoza's dramatic central train station & the taxi quickly delivered us to the hotel's door. A professional receptionist quickly checked us into our corner room which came with it own winter garden window. A architectural feature we found was common... More

Stayed here twice, was never impressed and I don t think that this is a 4 star hotel, they always use the same room and it smells as if someone has been smoking, we had a problem with the AC being to noisy and nothing was done about it, we reported to the reception staff but it was late at... Modern, spacious friendly hotel right in the heart of Zaragoza. All bases covered, from the room to the Wifi to the pool & cafe. A great base for exploring the city center. Right around the corner from the basilica. Tram line at the door. Highly recommended.

We booked a junior suite, a large room on the 10th floor which included a "kitchenette". This comprised a wall-mounted microwave and a fridge whose door refused to close. Comfy bed and seating area, vast bathtub and powerful shower, spoiled by a lack of hot water. A maintenance man arrived very quickly to rectify this when asked, but the problem... More

We had a lovely big modern room with a huge balcony that looked over the back of the hotel but it didnt matter that it was not the best view as the room was bright and airy and very comfortable with a huge king bed.The only hiccup was some mold in the shower which is my pet hate!

Very good city centre location. Nearby nice plaza for breakfast . Many dinner options however, be careful, some places pricey and pushy. Nice area around for walking and sightseeing - take your camera!!

it's a excellent choice in zaragoza. but be careful when you book a *quiet room*, you might end up with a room towards the inner court. your view will end after some meters at a grey wall. inacceptable, exept you arrive at night and leave early morning. rooms with a view towards the road don't have much a noise problem,... We travelled to Zaragoza to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary and have loved every minute in this wonderful city. This stylish but relaxed hotel couldn't be better located. Everything is within a few mins walk and yet the area doesn't feel overcrowded. I was a little concerned as our room overlooked the front of the hotel and the tram lines... More

The hotel is centrally located and convenient. The entrance looks very nice, and there is a small pool on the rooftop. Unfortunately the access is closed until 9 so I couldn't take a look at the view in the morning before leaving. I also could not use the indoor pool as it was completely closed those days. The room is... More
