We were travelling from San Sebastián to Barcelona and wanted to break the trip up so we looked for a hotel in Huesca and somehow we booked the Hotel Almud, which is actually in Sallent de Gallago in the Pyrenees mountains. In winter it is full of skiers on the slopes but in summer, hikers in the mountains. Beautiful hotel... More

Almud Hotel is a beautifully restored hotel with all the comforts and luxuries and more. Maria made us feel so welcome and helped with all our needs and questions. She is source of information, which she is able to share in English. The beautifully presented rooms overlook the cobbled street and have lovely little extras and good wifi. Make sure... More

The standard and cleanliness... More

It is very cosy and full of wonderful antiques, every day I noticed something different, so difficult to see everything the first time. We had a wonderful view of the mountains from our bedroom window. The room and beds were excellent,... More

If you are touring or hiking the Spanish Pyrenees, you will probably want to stay in Sallent de Gallego at some point as the views and hiking in this area are terrific. If so, stay at the charming Hotel Almud. The rooms are very nice and some look out directly on mountains you will want to climb in the morning.... More
