This may be the most relaxing and enjoyable hotel in Barrio Santa Cruz. Located in a 16th Century manor house, staying here is like staying in a beautifully cool flower garden. The hotel reception is the best I've had in Spain. When checking in you get a free welcome drink in the bar, and the hotel offers free bicycles, jacuzzi... More

We spent 3 nights at El Rey Moro and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very well placed to walk throughout the Juderia district and the free rental bikes, which we used on 2 days were really great to use. We were in a junior suite (?) room on the ground floor - Room 1 which meant that it opened... More

Our family selected this hotel based on the reviews, great rate, and central location. It was an interesting walk from the closest parking garage but the walk was well worth it. This beautifully charming hotel is perfectly located. Only a few minutes walk to wonderful restaurants, great flamenco, and historical sites. We had 4 rooms at the El Rey Moro... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in May and was not disappointed. Every aspect of this hotel is excellent. It is right in the heart of the old city, making it a 5 minute walk to many of the big attractions eg Cathedral, Alcazar. But it is in a small street where vehicles cannot access, making it quiet. We had a... More

We loved our stay at the El Rey Moro Hotel. We stayed in the Junior Suite (the room with the green wall on the website), and it was a beautiful room. Quiet at night, spacious, comfortable bed. The hotel itself was lovely with all of the flowers in the courtyard. It was very centrally located. We came by car and... More

We selected this hotel based on reviews and were happy with our decision. Location-Once you figure out the maze of old alleys, the hotel is actually very close to both the Cathedral and to leave the barrio and access public transit. Service-All of the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The front desk staff helped us with reservations and... More

This is a truly great boutique hotel to stay at - pretty well faultless on every way, I'd say. So, why not a 5 rating? Well, the problem is that their restaurant has good quality food, but very dopey service. But stay here all the same!

We stayed here on our first night in Seville and were pleasantly surprised. The location is good with just a short walk to the historic sites of The Cathedral and the Alcazar. Be aware that taxis cannot access the hotel and will drop you off just a short walk away, which wasn't a problem to us, but could be if... More

I stayed here in November 2012 and based on that positive experience chose to stay here again. I started off on a very positive note at check-in….they remembered me from my previous visit! My stay this time was just as good, if not better, than the first time. The staff is wonderful. They are so welcoming! I stayed at two... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Seville and our choice of hotel, El Rey Moro - we would definitely stay there again. The Santa Cruz location could not be better - being easily accessible on foot to all the main sites, the historical centre. Rooms are filled with Andalusian character and very comfortable, and the staff are always there to... More
