We spent three wonderful nights at the El Rey Moro two weeks ago, at the start of a 3 week trip to Sevilla and Portugal, and were completely satisfied with this charming hotel. The central patio is beautiful and restful, where we were welcomed with a personal introduction to the hotel, and enjoyed the very complete and delicious breakfast every... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on a recent visit with my parents. The location is ideal for the sights as its right in the heart of the old town, just a few mins walk to the Cathedral and Palace. It is really an oasis of tranquility amongst all the taps bars and hustle and bustle of the many tourists walking... More

Driving into the center of Sevilla, even with GPS, stressed us out. If you are not familiar with Sevilla, prepare yourself for a difficult time trying to find the closest access to this hotel. We finally found our way to a plaza where we parked temporarily so that I could run through the tangled alleys of the old barrio to... More

The hotel is in a great location in the Barrio Santa Cruz, easy walking distance to the great sights and great food. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the staff helpful and friendly. The central patio is quiet and charming, a nice spot for breakfast or to wait for your travel companion. We loved our stay there.

This may be the most relaxing and enjoyable hotel in Barrio Santa Cruz. Located in a 16th Century manor house, staying here is like staying in a beautifully cool flower garden. The hotel reception is the best I've had in Spain. When checking in you get a free welcome drink in the bar, and the hotel offers free bicycles, jacuzzi... More

We spent 3 nights at El Rey Moro and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very well placed to walk throughout the Juderia district and the free rental bikes, which we used on 2 days were really great to use. We were in a junior suite (?) room on the ground floor - Room 1 which meant that it opened... More

Our family selected this hotel based on the reviews, great rate, and central location. It was an interesting walk from the closest parking garage but the walk was well worth it. This beautifully charming hotel is perfectly located. Only a few minutes walk to wonderful restaurants, great flamenco, and historical sites. We had 4 rooms at the El Rey Moro... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in May and was not disappointed. Every aspect of this hotel is excellent. It is right in the heart of the old city, making it a 5 minute walk to many of the big attractions eg Cathedral, Alcazar. But it is in a small street where vehicles cannot access, making it quiet. We had a... More

We loved our stay at the El Rey Moro Hotel. We stayed in the Junior Suite (the room with the green wall on the website), and it was a beautiful room. Quiet at night, spacious, comfortable bed. The hotel itself was lovely with all of the flowers in the courtyard. It was very centrally located. We came by car and... More

We selected this hotel based on reviews and were happy with our decision. Location-Once you figure out the maze of old alleys, the hotel is actually very close to both the Cathedral and to leave the barrio and access public transit. Service-All of the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The front desk staff helped us with reservations and... More
