3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed a couple of nights at El Rey Moro. Reception staff were pretty friendly, and able to talk either Spanish or English. However some slightly incorrect advice they gave me about transport connections led me on a wild goose chase around Seville on my only full day there, in the pouring rain to top it off, so that wasn't ideal.... Moorish courtyard surrounded by galleried rooms - this is like a riyadh dropped into the heart of the Barrio Santa Cruz. Lovely, cheerful, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are very good, breakfast excellent. We loved this hotel and will be back.

wonderful tranquil hotel in the heart of Seville's Santa Cruz area. Very friendly staff and exquisite rooms overlooking the courtyard. Remember your swimmers for the hot tub. Most welcome after a day of sightseeing. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby

I recently stayed at this wonderful little hotel with a group of friends. The staff could not have been more helpful. Manuela is wonderful, and so are the gentlemen who work at reception (did not get their names). Be aware that you must walk there with your bags, as it is on a very narrow street in the Barrio de... We spent two wonderful nights in Seville at the El Ray Moro. It's in a great location in the Santa Cruz area, the staff are extremely helpful and the hotel room that we had was really comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was included in our price and that meant that overall we got great value for money. One thing to... More

This hotel was a gem. We stayed there 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooftop hot tub was a wonderful surprised and much enjoyed after a day of walking and sightseeing. Nice touch to have the water bottles available near the rooms and the fresh oranges in the room was welcome.

We stayed at this wonderful establishment for 2 nights and wish we stayed longer. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially the girls. The room was pretty spacious with a breakfast table and a full size bed. Loved every minute! Breakfast was delicious and scenic if you sat in the courtyard. Highly recommend it!

Just returned from a four night stay in this lovely hotel. We had booked a superior double courtyard room which was clean, comfortable and quiet with plenty of space for the two of us. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food on offer. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. The location is perfect... More

A courteous welcome, the prettiest of courtyards and an attractive, if smallish room. The setting is perfect for exploring not only the well-known sights but also the lesser-known attractions. Tips: don't have the hotel breakfast but find Bodega Belmonte where you can watch the world go by, have a couple of cortados (strong coffee with a dash of milk), fresh... More

The hotel is housed in a beautiful building in the heart of the barrio Santa Cruz, the fascinating old quarter of Seville and very close to the main monuments.
