Positive points : clean hostal, well placed in the city center. Quite. Typical spanish decoration with azulejos. A little bit more expensive compared to other hostal at 25€/night Negative points : expensive parking (18€/day) and limited places - if overbooked help yourself! we stayed 2 nights and our towels haven't been changed and bed no cleaned no breakfast proposed -... I can do basic hotels but this one was dreadful. The reception staff could hardly take their eyes from the PC to give you room keys. The room itself was tiny , very noisy and had holes in the wall and exposed electrical cabling. The bathroom was way too small. I can think of no redeeming feature in this place

Quiet and centrally located, great for wandering to both the tourist areas and the more off beat bars. Good sized room and clean, if dated, bathroom. Lovely oasis of an entrance. Always staffed to instantly let you in and out between siestas and late summer evening drinks. If you enjoy walking through the old narrow streets then this is a... More

I don't want to come across as one of the TripAdvisor moaners, but I think people should know not to book this hotel if they're travelling alone and planning a short stay. I was given room number 1 (never as promising as it sounds). The only time I've stayed somewhere worse was my first night in Morocco when I arrived... More

No AC, very strange staff, room reeked of smoke. Had windows in the room that opened to the living room, very strange. Bathroom was barely big enough for one person. Do not recommend this at any cost. We stayed long enough to call another hotel to get reservations. Unpleasant experience.

Had a bad start to our stay when we got there to find that we'd been given a twin not a double room. The manager tried to claim that 'double' means two beds in Spain and so it was our fault - if he has a point then I owe him an apology, but I've travelled in Spain a fair... More

In e-mails we were assured that they offer rooms with AC and no smoking is permitted. They DEMANDED money up front for all 3 nights. The AC unit was not working and they were not willing to move us to other room till the next day ( they were rooms available). The window from our room opened into the courtyard... More

This hostal is simple but functional and clean, with a/c, private bathroom and located quite near the city centre (15' walking). The staff is very kind and helpful. A good choice if you're staying few days and you're not looking for luxury.

This is a lovely place to stay - its as good as the photos on the web site, its right behind the Palace de Paltios, so you'll hear the birds in their garden singing which is very pleasant. The staff were friendly & helpful the rooms are basic but clean & en suite. Youu can walk most places from here... More

Atenas was a great location to stay to catch the sites of Sevilla. Beware though, you WILL get lost on the streets in this area (Santa Maria section). Even with a map, it is nearly impossible to navigate without getting lost. Atenas was clean and comfortable. As usual for most Spanish establishments, the place reeked of smoke -- mainly because...
