Small, friendly authentic Spanish Hotel. Great location opposite Hercules Square. The staff, especially front counter were fabulous. We had an internal room, a bit weird without windows, but we weren't there to gaze out. Walk to town, river, old walls etc all very handy. Would recommend.

The room we had in this hotel faced the courtyard with only a small window. There was enough light, but would've been nice to have a window facing out to a street. The staff was helpful getting us checked in quickly, answered all of our questions, and was amenable to us getting some coffee in the morning before departure (without... More

Second visit to this quiet comfortable hotel in one of the best areas of the city away from the tourist traps where you can eat and drink among the locals in some wonderful bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Furnished with antiques and a world away from most tourist hotels

This is a special hotel full of charm and old Sevilliano elegance. It is a family run hotel and offers many unique details such as a central atrium with internal balconies and bedrooms going off this. The rooms are tastfully decorated, the bathroom charming and the service from the staff courteous and helpful. It is kept spotlessly clean. It is... More

The hotel is on Alameda de Hercules a wonderful, long 'square' with limited car traffic. It's a great location close to all the main city centre attractions. The rooms are lovely, with really quaint decor. The beds are great and even though ours was a room facing out onto the internal patio it wasn't at all claustrophobic. The staff were... More

Charming boutique hotel with a fresh courtyard in the middle of vibrant city life. Well preserved building; not too "modern" in typical Andalucian style. Breakfast is well prepared. Surrounding bars and terraces offer great food and calm nightlife.

We too picked location following the review in New York Times article but we were very glad that we did. The location is perfect - in the Alameda de Hércules mall. We enjoyed being close to all of the fun and was never too noisy. The hotel itself is quite simple but the decor is quite classy and stylish. Staff... More

I also stayed in the one of the smaller rooms behind the front desk. I didn't notice the noise problem but the room was quite small and I don't think commensurate in value. There a small window, but it faces a shaft, and there seemed to be a bit of mosquitoes in the room, also at one point I smelled... More

The hotel is in a perfect location, with great affordable cafes, tapas bars and restaurants right beside it. Beautifully restored, the old-feel of the place was great. A lot of other reviewers wrote about noise issues but we were in an inward facing room and didn't encounter this problem (but we had no windows in our room though). The room,... More

We stayed here for 4 days during Semana Santa and there couldn't have been a better location. Some of the fabulous processions passed right outside the hotel and there were numerous cafes/bars to choose from. We walked everywhere and could reach all the main sites - Cathedral, Alcazar etc within about 20 minutes. We had an inside room (nothing else... More
