We spent two nights in Hostal Alameda. This huge place north of city center had lots of tapas bars on the plaza itself and in the adjacent streets. Although the rooms are small and you had to put suitcase up on the cupboard to have place to move around, the reception staff are friendly and helpful, everything is clean, the... More

We'been in Seville in September and spent some nights in this hotel. Rooms are ok (clean enough, small as the average of rooms in Seville) and personnel is very kind. The position is great, in a zone with a lot of bars and restaurants. Close to the center (few minutes walk). We spent a good time here

Sevilla was love at first sight and Hostal Alameda highly recommended! For a very good price you get a basic room, but very clean (cleaned every day) and a better bed than in most hotels. The owners of this familyhotel are kind and helpful. With double sliding doors and shutters, the street noise didnt bother us at all. Location perfect... More

This hostel or pension was a lovely place to stay. We stayed over NYE 2011, in a fairly quiet time. The rooms were kept very clean, and the bathroom facilities were good. We were allowed to use the owner's fridge even though the kitchen is kept closed in winter (more hotel style in winter and hostel style in summer). The... More

The location was great. It was a little far from the major sites, but nothing longer than a 15 minute walk. The best part of the location was the neighbourhood. Theres tonnes of great bars and restaurants right outside of the hostel. Theres no elevator, so you have to take your luggage up the stairs. We were on the 2nd... More

A little bit far from airport and to go with busses, but once there, it is all worth while! It is a perfect location. The Plaza is full with restaurants and tapas bars. I felt very save. The rooms are clean (though small). They had everything you needed. We wanted milk late one night and the owner gave us milk... More

We booked hostal Alameda for a couple of nights in September 2011. The lady who runs this place (together with her husband and other relatives) is really friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The hotel is located in a more quiet area of Seville but we liked it. There´s a big square in front of the hotel with some... More

Everytime I go to Seville I stay at Hostal Alameda. By now, I'm treated like family, which is very nice! Location is perfect for me, it is clean and confortable enough, friendly staff (family run), good relation quality/price; no wonder it is frequently fully booked... Definitely I recommend it.

We booked this online and on arrival at the train station it was a simple bus ride (bus 32) to plaza Victoria, then a ten minute walk. It is in amongst a large number of tapa bars which is great for dinner options. The hotel rooms itself were average, but clean and comfortable. The staff were really nice and helpful... More

I would recommend this hostel to anyone. It is in a safe location, about 20-30 minutes walking away from the city center. It is extremely clean, which is more rare when you're looking at hostel options. For two people, the total per night was 35 euro (17 per person). That is almost unheard of for such a high quality hostel.... More
