The hotel is tucked away in a side street on the stree leading to the Cathedral. You need to walk a small bit with your luggage but it's well worth the effort. The location could not be any better with everything within easy walking distance. The rooms were clean, small but very comfortable. The staff (especially Carolina and Danny) were... More

We were a family of three travelling with our nine year old daughter. We stayed in the Hotel Alminar from the 16th to the 20th of April. The hotel is located just a stone's throw away from the Seville Cathedral and the Alcazar and is very close to the prime shopping streets of Calle Cuna and Calle Sierpes. The flamenco... More

This charming small hotel in the heart of Seville is so close to La Giralda that you feel you can almost touch it. The adjacent streets and alleyways are packed with interesting shops, restaurants and tapas bars, and all the major sights are a few minutes walk away. We had the two roof top rooms - a bonus! Sadly only... More

We spent 4 nights here. The central location near the cathedral is great and one can see La Giralda from rooms. Don't expect your taxi to be able to get to the door but it's not far from the bottom of the street. Breakfast is extra at 8 euros each but it was handy, substantial and varied enough unless you... I LOVE staying in boutique hotels, and this is about as boutique as it gets. (I think there are only 12 rooms.) But what the Alminar lacks in size, it more than makes up for in the things that really matter -- it's clean, it's got a great staff, and the location simply cannot be beat!! I must admit, I... We stayed 4 nights in a top floor deluxe room which was small but lovely. The hotel is quite old (don't expect ultra modern) but clean & well maintained. Staff were wonderful, very helpful in advising us on restaurants, directions etc. The best thing was the location being so close to the cathedral. This made it easy to find our... More

I love Boutique Hotels when they are good. This Alminar Hotel is one of those. We stayed during a difficult time: Easter. The city is crowded and crazy. I like that they give you what they promise. The rooms are small but fair enough. There are two terrace, we had one. My granddaughter was in another with balcony. They are... More

We stayed for three nights in April 2015. This quaint hotel is in a great location right in the heart of the action of Seville. It is a block from the Cathedral. The rooms are very clean! The only slightest complaint I had was that we are a family of 4 and our room was very small. I think it... More

Rooms were nice sized. Our double bed was actually twin beds with separate linens. Though the beds were pushed together a gap opened between them overnight so we had to sleep separately. There were some noisy people outside in the early morning hours which might be typical for the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is on a... More

This little hotel is in the heart of the sites of Seville. Just minutes to cathedral and other sites. We had one of the rooftop rooms #32 and had views of the cathedral and tower. The room was spacious and well appointed and the hotel is spotless. Coffee and tea were complimentary so we were able to bring a tray... More
