The receptionists at this hostel are extremely friendly and go into detail explaining where the sites are and making sure you get the most out of Seville. The rooms where extremely hot and sleeping with the window open only allowed all the noise in from the street below and the church bells. If you want air conditioning turned on you... More

"+": The location is very good - 10 or 15 minutes to old center . And the price is cheap. Personnel are polite and responsive. " -": I waked up early because very noisy. The furniture are old. But this hostal ideally be right to stay only one night.

Room was smaller than it seems at the picture, there is no kitchen or bicycle rantal although they claim to offer it. Standard is avarage, but clean, very well located... but really noisy. It was a bit hot in the room. Staff is nice. There is a really nice square next to it where you can have really tasty breakfest... More

Sadly the owners of this well located Hostel seem to of become a tad complacent as it always seemed to be full. It is really well located and despite this central location, doesn't seem to suffer too much from late night noise issues. As others have mentioned, the air-con is an issue. It is an old, seemingly centrally controlled system... More

I stayed there during the Feria. It was one of the few available hotels that did not cost a fortune and I realized why the instant that I saw the place. The room was terribly hot...which I found ironic since there is a big sign that says air conditioned in front of the hotel! There was something in the air... More

Very good place to be a hostal. Private bathroom and clean rooms. No breakfast, but near there are many coffee shops. The staff was very kind and helpful everytime. And is located in the historical center of seville, 12 minutes more or less walking from the cathedral and other monuments.

The Hotel Santa Catalina was not our first choice (lot of inquiries had no vacancy for the week after the feria), and it proved we have been right. The only one of the hotels we have booked online who charged our credit card right upon reservation, and they sure do know why. Would we not have already been charged for... More
