At first the hotel was lovely. The courtyards are really beautiful and our room had plenty of character with windows facing out towards a courtyard with a small pool. The staff were friendly and we were enjoying our visit. However half-way through our stay the staff at the reception told us that we had to change rooms. They didn’t provide... More

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Casa Imperial. The building is charming and beautiful, our room was amazing, and the staff extremely friendly. We loved the character of the building, and our room (though we booked the most basic) was huge, with a seating area/kitchenette, and a massive bathtub. The location is great, nice and quiet, and in... More

The patios strike you upon entry and there are more and more of them as you wander your way to your room. The room was done up beautifully with an interesting bed but comfortable. The bathroom was in bright primary colors but it worked and was fun for a night. The staff was most helpful including letting us keep our... More

Though I would question whether this really warrants it's 5* status, it is undeniably a wonderful and characterful place built around leafy courtyards. Every corner has its own seating arrangement, whether it be wicker loungers and upright chairs and tables. All very charming, almost quirky. Upstairs there is a roof terrace which could benefit from a parasol or two to... More

We stayed here in holy week in Seville and it is a charming place to stay. We had a ground floor room (no10) - outside was a little pool which cooled the air. It was 30 degrees in the streets but when you came through the doors the outside courtyards - there are 3- gave coolness and calm and a... More

We were very disappointed by this hotel. As with another reviewed we were given a ground floor "suite" (room 12). This had no outside windows and was depressing, and smelt badly of an oil used to hide other smells. The courtyard was outside and we were kept awake by people using it to chat and have drinks late at night.... More

Very charming and old style boutique hotel in the center of the old town of Seville. The courtyards are stunning, it's the right place to revive the old days of this wonderful city. The bathroom needs a brush up but the generous and clean bedrooms make you easily forget minor deficiencies. The service is good too.

Travel a bit off the beaten track and a short walk to the center and you wind up in the Casa Imperial with courtyard after courtyard of beautiful gardens and a great view over the rooftops of Seville. We stayed in the first-floor family room, which was two bedrooms, a family bath and a little kitchen.Everything was decorated in a... More

There are many lovely looking hotels available in Seville but this has to be one of the most beautiful, reminiscent of a Moorish riad - not much to see from the outside but step through the door and you enter a succession of stunning courtyards, with shady areas to relax in, full of ferns and flowers and quirky bits of... We booked this hotel because it seemed reasonably near the centre, had good reviews and was affordable. It wasn't quite as central as we thought, but it was such a delightfully peaceful place, that we would definitely stay there again if visiting Seville. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. On arrival, the chap on duty, Jose, noticed that I... More
