At our staying the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure all our requests were met. This included giving us information and directions to pueblos blancos, bodegas and sightseeings, etc. to visit. They went to the extent of drawing maps to ensure we found our destination. The staff speaks English and other... more

Despite the January weather being the worst its been in a long time, our stay at the hotel was a memorable one. The converted 16th century home is an architectural beauty with fountains and flowers. It was like going back in time. The hotel is on a small side street that apart from being hard to drive to, is quiet... more

It seems that the rooms are variable, but we were obviously lucky because ours was beautiful, and it was remarkable even in a Hotel of this class, in a city of this size, to be able to hear nothing, day or night, but fountains and birdsong. The staff, especially the wonderful receptionist Anya, were charming and helpful without being either... more

My wife and 2 children booked the Casa Imperial last minute for one night while on holiday in the Algarve and drove to Seville that day. As soon as we walked into the reception it was like a step back in time and the staff could not have been more genuinely friendly and helpful recommending sight seeing tours and local... more

Our group had 10 rooms here so I’ve heard many comments. Some colleagues staying on the ground floor complained that their only window was towards the courtyard / walkway / bar, noisy and little privacy. Others complained that their room was too small so it was very difficult to squeeze past the bed into the bathroom. My own room had... more

If you are ready to pay 5 star prices for a 3 star hotel, be their guest! I stayed at the hotel 3 nights last week. When I saw the family suite I had booked, I was so disappointed I asked to see other rooms. I was shown 4 more which were all old-fashioned with terrible bathrooms. I only stayed... more

Wonderful staff that could not do enough for us. The suite that we had was a little quirky as it was on 3 floors if you include the private roof terrace. It does not get to excellent rating as the bathroom was a little small but certainly gets there for the building and the outstanding, caring staff. The hotel is... more

Does not live up to its five star status. The patios are lovely, but we found the room to be small and even smelling a little of damp. Think the Hotel got its star rating a few years ago and it now appears old fashioned and out of date. Very expensive for what it provides and not worth the money.... more

This is a 300 plus year old villa turned into a small hotel. The room was charming and spacious. The staff was very solicitous of our every need. The concierge made resturant recomendations, followed up with reservations. The hotel is in the heart of old Sevilla and it is quite a shock for someone used to American streets. The streets... more

The Hotel Imperial was a delightful stop on our tour through Spain in a very hot summer. The ancient structure, nicely restored in the late 90's, had character galore with 14th century architecture winding around courtyards and patios thoughout this maze of a hotel. No long hallways here! If there was an elevator, we never saw it as we enjoyed... more
