What a wonderful stay we had at this hotel!! We had booked 4 nights for the Feria de Avril, the great festivities celebrated two weeks after Easter. You step out of the hotel, turn to the right and follow the alley that leads you to Calle Mateos Gago, a busy street with many restaurants and bars. Turn to the right... More

This hotel is a beautiful old monastery. The staff were very helpful especially the lady who was on each morning and she spoke very good english. Our room was small but perfectly formed it's all you need as Seville needs to be explored! It's in an excellent location and in one of the most beautiful parts of the city. It... More

This quaint hotel is on a quaint side street just off the main square in Seville. It is a 5-minute walk to the Alcazar and the Cathedral. 5 minutes! While the rooms are small and basic, you could not beat the location. It is a converted monastery and you can really feel the history here. The front desk people were... More

I give the YH Giralda, 3 1/2 stars. We took Rick Steves advice and stayed here 2 nights in late-October. It's described as once an 18-century abbots' house. All I can say is that the abbot must have been very small. This was easily the smallest room we had during 2 weeks in Spain, and we are accustomed to small,... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The original room we had booked showed a separate sitting room with a pull out couch. They told us that they thought there was more than 2 and insisted that we stay in another room. When we saw the other room which was very small, we asked to be put in the... More

In writing this review i am torn because you can't beat the location and price for this hotel if you want to be near the Cathedral/Alcazar area. The hotel is just a two minute walk from the cathedral. You cannot take a taxi directly to the front door. They will let you out less than a minute walk through a... More

YH Giralda is conveniently located just two minutes from the Plaza in front of the cathedral in Seville. It is on Calle Abades, more an alley than a street. The taxi will drop you off on the corner and you'll have to walk about 50 yards to the front door. Not a lot to give up for not having street... More

I think that this hotel can provide good or bad experiences, and this largely depends on the room you end up with. I agree with all criticisms, including noise from the interior atrium. Windows that look into the atrium offer intimate views to all those who pass by; having to keep curtains drawn all the time in a very small... More

We stayed 2 nights in a room on the gound floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and although the rooms were comfortable they could use a little improvement being an older facility. There was a little mold in the corners. Excellent location and the room was very quiet. There are no elevators so if... More

I travel extensively and dislike giving bad reviews, but for this hotel I must. First the good. The location is perfect, in the middle of everything, but a bit off to the side. Second, ÿMariana, the manager/receptionist. She is a delightful, knowledgeable wealth of information. She deserves a better hotel. The third floor which is the top floor is nice,... More
