The charm of this hotel is the warm, friendly staff and the beautiful restoration of the convent. Tucked off a busy street but very, very close to the cathedral area, I found it to be quiet and enchanting. Yes, the rooms are sparse (thus the convent feeling) but who wants to stay in their room while in Seville? The bathroom... More

Great location near Cathedral. Tiny room and less than desireable bathroom. Beds were kid size twin beds and very hard. I am 5'6" and my feet hung off end of bed. Staff was nice. Average hotel but I wish the beds were nicer. They were so uncomfortable.

We stayed here Nov 26-28 and loved the whole experience. We had a big room with a window/balcony opening onto the street. Loved all the antiques strewn everywhere in the hotel. Took a taxi from the bus station for coming in from Granada and day trip to Cordoba and for the airport for our flight to Madrid. Walked within the... More

What an amazing place. So much to look at. Also have a flamenco night which I didn't go to because I'd already pre booked another. Staff were nice. Wifi only in the reception area which was a bit annoying. Best spot close to everything. Quiet dark rooms. Very clean

As the name suggests, this is an ex- convent, a historic building and a really amazing place to stay. Despite it's antiquity the rooms are well provided with comfortable beds, good air-con and plentiful hot water for the showers. They are also decorated with antique tiles and furnished with an eclectic mixture of antique and not-so-antique furniture. It is important... More

We found this hidden treasure via travel Rebublic and upon arrival we were bowled over by its charm. I can't think of a more fascinating hotel that I've either stayed in or seen before, it's like stepping back in time but with all the luxuries of the modern day. We could not stop looking around this hotel because as the... More

If you are looking for a place that captures the flavor of bygone era, a taste of what Old Spain was truly like, then this is your kind of hotel. Tucked away down a narrow street (alley might be a better description) the former convent captivates before your foot crosses the threshold. Founded by the Clarisas order centuries ago, the... More

The hotel isn't standard. In fact it has many nice decorations that makes it an interesting place to stay. Inside you find great little patios. The room don't have windows facing the street. The windows (with shutters) face the hallway/patios. It can however be noisy when other people walk by. The location is great. Very near the cathedral meaning you... More

We stayed in hotel Convento La Gloria for three nights in june. The hotel is nicely decorated in style with an old convent. We booked a room with a view on the Giralda tower, which we recommend, there are lots of rooms without windows as it is, as said before, an old convent. Room was a good size, nice bed... More
