Easy to find the hostel from the main bus station, tiny shower area, helpful staff with the information, advised us to use a bus for Cordoba instead using train. Can't complain! Good cafe for breakfast, next door to St Joseph Church, few minutes walk from the hostel!

I had a TERRIBLE experience here!!! The day I arrived, I was told they had made a mistake with my reservation and I was not able to stay in the same room for the entire booking. The room was advertised as having AC but that was an error. The room was dark, damp and I was bitten in the middle... More

Charming and traditional hostel. Really lovely place to stay in the heart of Seville. The day staff spoke perfect English and was very helpful with all our questions ( the night staff was friendly but spike no English). Very peaceful, quiet and clean. Only qualms was you had to pay 3€ for aircon per night n there's no breakfast. We... More

I was meant to stay at this hostel for a week, having booked in January. Upon arrival we were told that we did not have a room as our reservation was not confirmed, and that they had sent us an email (which we didn't receive) FIVE DAYS BEFORE arrival. I appreciate that something obviously went wrong. But I cannot understand... More

Stayed here for five nights in a double room with shared bathroom. Booked very cheaply through booking.com. It is located just off the main shopping strip so is a good option if you want to be in the middle of the commercial centre. My room was an interior one so was quite dark, but had a window looking out onto... More

very traditional colorful building, staff was ok, the room has the window just to the inside, so there was not much air inside, which makes me uncomfortable. the bath and toilet outside the room. You dont even spend much time inside the hostel..

Stayed with my boyfriend for three nights at the start of September. Had room 102, a double on the first floor with its own bathroom. The bathroom was tiny and, as has been mentioned, the hot water was less than reliable. It was 32 °C when we stayed though so not a problem but I'd think twice before booking in... More

I'm surprised at all the negative reviews here. I actually booked another hostel around the corner that must be affiliated with Hostal Lis II, but they were out of rooms so they put me up here. It had a very traditional Andalusian patio that was very cute and inviting. I had a single room (double bed) and paid about 22... More

ust a note to those who are planning a trip to Sevilla. In the Lonely Planet guide Hostel Lis II is recommended. It should'nt be! It is over priced (60 Euro for a double room which is in very bad condition), lumpy beds, no heating in the middle of winter (it snowed an hour north of Sevilla when I went),... More
