We stayed at this hotel for only night because we took an overnight train to Barcelona the next day. We had to take a cab from the train station to the hotel however it was not very expensive (about 8 Euro). The room was quite big and however it had a terrible smell of stale cigarette smoke. The hotel seemed... more

A friend and I stayed 4 nights in September 2007. We found the staff very cold and unfriendly, not helpful at all under any circumstances. I'm amazed at the positive TripAdviser reviews I've read, our experience was the exact opposite. The surly front desk staff didn't speak or even attempt to communicate in English, so we quickly learned not to... more

My partner and I enjoyed staying at that hotel. Though interior room was a bit dark, 70s style, it was pretty decent. I would recommend it to both younger and older couples. All in all, nothing to complain. Hotel is located on a small side street near main artery where you can find cafes and boutiques. . That said, pay... more

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Superb room, all the usual facilities and a large bathroom. The hotel was quirky which we enjoyed and had character. Friendly staff and good breakfast. We paid an amazingly cheap rate for a very enjoyable two nights. We will be back. more

I found this hotel fine for the price we paid. Central location, clean comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, nice atrium with good seating areas - BUT don't even think about parking here unless your name is Del boy and you drive a Reliant Robin. You have to get a lift down to the parking - Yes a lift! - and... more

Our room was 357. This hotel was the biggest disappointment of the 8 hotels I stayed at during our Spain trip. I've re-read the reviews (which I read prior to booking) and they do not match up with our experience at all. The only thing that makes sense is that we were given an extremely inferior room due to the... more

A really lovely hotel just where you want to be for the historic centre. Avoid the big hotels on the road to the airport - they are too far away. Also, watch out for the new tram lines as you could be living on a building site with some of the others. This hotel is a little gem. Don't buy... more

I just returned from a trip to Spain and felt obliged to share my thoughts on the Montecarlo in Seville. I was stunned by how pretty this hotel is. It's a 2-star and I wasn't expecting anything as lovely as what it turned out to be; safe, intimate, very well maintained, modern yet classically Andalucian with indoor courtyards. The staff... more

A very pleasant hotel. Specially when we arrived. The staff was very helpfull to assist us with parking the car in the litlle parking. It was very pleasant we could park the car there, cause in the neighbourhood is difficult to park. It was a pleasure to have a receptionist who talked and advised in the English language. The rooms... more

We stayed here for 2 nights (March 18-20) and had a great time. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The window in our room opened into a tiny courtyard, which was great because we could leave the window open at night and there was very little noise. The location is close to the shopping area and a brief... more
