I booked this hotel at the last minute as l had waited too long to book my first choice. I don't regret it at all. This place was right in the center. It was walkable to everything, the Giralda, the Maria Luisa Park etc. were all like 5-20 minute walk. It's one of those streets that are so narrow that... More

This hotel is very mediocre, the location is great, you can walk everywhere from this hotel, we walked to the cathedral, alcazar, flamenco museum, plaza of espana. We didn't use public transit at all when we were in Seville. The rooms were old though, the door required a physical key to open, tv was tiny, it is just very old.... More

Reading the reviews on here I must admit I was sceptical at first given the cost of the room for our recent 3 night stay. Well I am happy to report that it's all true. The room size was fine for my wife and I, there were plenty of decent places to eat within a short walk. There's a SuperSol... More

I stayed in single room which was small as a shoe-box, however, bathroom was relatively big. Good shower. Despite small, this room was just perfect for a short stay. Hotel is located in old town, by small pedestrian streets. Very athmospheric to walk around here during evening. Maybe 25min walk from the train station. Room had good wifi connection and... More

I recently returned from Seville where I spent 5 nights. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel room I saw on internet, was in fact the room I was given and it matched my expectations. Althought I was in the middle of the Santa Cruz area there was complete silence.! The location is perfect and only 5 minutes to the... More

We arrived here on New Years Eve, with food poisoning picked up in a previous city, and found we'd been placed into the room right next to the reception desk. Apparently this was because they were fully booked. Now the room right next to reception is REALLY noisy, because every (seemingly shouted) conversation in reception, all night long, comes straight... More

I chose this place since we got a good deal on the Booking site. The great thing is that it's right in the centre with a short walk to all the sights. It's also only a 5€ taxi ride from the train station. Lot of great restaurants nearby as well. They also have the flamenco show in the evening for... More

I have stayed at the Hotel Alcantara now on three separate occasions and will continue to stay here on future trips to Seville. It is always kept beautifully clean, the staff are very helpful and accommodating. It situation is ideal especially when you get to know your way around some of the charming narrow streets. A five minute walk from... More

This hotel is clinically clean, smart and friendly smack in the middle of the Santa Cruz district surrounded by tapas bars, with the main square and cathedral just round the corner. On arrival the man on reception was polite spoke good English and directed us on where to park (about 100m away) the wifi was free and available throught the... More

We stayed at Alcantara recently for two nights during a trip to Sevilla. The hotel was very basic, but clean and the staff welcoming. Our room lacked a place to work (no desk) but was large enough to do the job. The bathroom was also quite basic but served the purpose. We enjoyed the location very much and could walk... More
