Great location - about 3 blocks from the Cathedral, yet far enough away to be quiet for sleeping. The staff was friendly & helpful and the breakfast (included) was much better than I expected. They had a selection of meats, cheeses, boxed cereals (Frosted Flakes types), scrambled eggs, ham, sausages, croissants, toast, buns, coffee, juice. I had a single room... more

The location could not be better; located in a very beautiful, typical small square, car-free, full of tables from the local restaurants, and very close to the Cathedral and Alcazar. We typically never eat at the 'hotel restaurant', but this one was definitely a great place; we had the BEST ox-tail there! The service is friendly and efficient (something we... more

Great hotel in the centre of Seville. Staff are super friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was included in the price and well worth it. Clean, nice kept rooms with air conditioning. The hotel was very quiet at night so we slept really well. Very convenient for seeing the sites, getting coaches and going to the airport. We had a very nice... more

Myself and two friends have just returned from a three night stay in Seville at this hotel. We were not sure what to expect after reading the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. However (as one review said) I can,t imagine what anyone could find to complain about. We had a triple room on the first floor, it was clean and comfortable,... more

Well we don't know what some other reviewers are going on about. It was clean with no smells, good beds, nice shower and friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We ate in the restaurant on our first evening and that was great too - the waiter also gave us information on how to get to... more

Just back from a six night stay in Hosteria del Laurel, Seville and I was not impressed. The hotel has a prime location in pretty Santa Cruz, but we found the physical facilities and level of comfort poor, and a take-it-or-leave-it attitude prevailing among the staff. We had booked a double room and were shown on arrival to a dark,... more

I have asthma so always book an air conditioned room two months in advance as was the case here. I arrived and they put me in a room with no air and the phone did not work (I call home in the evenings). I asked to be moved and they said they were sold out but would fix my air.... more

This place is very basic but offered us reasonably priced accomodation in one of the nicest areas of Sevilla. You can easily walk anywehere and are near the centre and the major attractions. We had a room on the top floor, which was basic but clean and quite. As the room itself had no outside windows (only the bathroom had... more

While this hotel is well-located, that is about one of the few things that are good about this place in my oppinion. Our room had not been cleaned properly whatsoever; there were hair both in the bathroom and in the bed, and there was a big stain on the top bed spread that looked like animal feces. Front desk was... more

We stayed here during the Feria de Abril. During this time, it charges a supplement, but much less than many other hotels are asking... good value. The rooms are basic, but serviceable and clean. Buffet breakfast is included, and has hot items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. Great orange juice. Location can't be beat, in the heart of... more
