If you are looking for a central base, a bed for the night, a shower in the morning, from which to stay whilst touring Seville then my husband and I recommend Hotel Abanico. The rooms are slightly dated but clean and the area is quiet throughout the day. the foyer area is absolutely stunning, a beautiful space. The staff at... More

Stayed here 22 February 2014 - myself and travelling companion both had a double room for single occupancy, The hotel location is great - Calle Aguilas is probably a 10 minute walk from Santa Justa railway station (5 minutes and around 7 euros by taxi) and less than 8 minutes or so walking through very charming and captivating streets to... This hotel is in a lovely(small) old palace within walking distance of Seville's best architecture and its bars and shops. The staff are very helpful and the buffet breakfast could last you until evening. Taxi ride from the airport takes about 15 minutes - do not think of driving! (there is also an airport bus to the town centre)

I booked 4 rooms direct with the hotel and got a fantastic rate of 45 Euros per room, including breakfast! My expectations were not too high even though I had read good reviews. How wrong I was! We were greeted warmly on arrival and given lots of useful information by the desk staff. The rooms were small but very nicely decorated... More

The Hotel Abanico Sevilla in Seville combines the best of Seville and the most modern and contemporary amenities in the hotel to give the guest a wonderful time. The hotel boasts intricate details on the hotel’s walls, pillars and patio that are out and out Sevillian. The tiles are beautifully Sevillian and the whole architecture is Andalusian. The fact that... More

I stayed at the Hotel Abanico in Sevilla for three nights in October. It is a beautiful property, the common areas were gorgeous with moorish arches and murals. The staff were great. they were able to easily direct me to everywhere I needed help finding. The location, while a bit out of the way near Plaza Alfalfa, but it was... More

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Abanico. The décor is beautiful; you enter into an interior courtyard with tile pictures on wall, lovely furniture, plants, etc. We were given a choice of two rooms; we chose the larger one facing the rear of the hotel and it was quiet. Sergio at the front desk gave us a complete orientation to... More

Wonderful hotel. Clean, friendly, useful with an outstanding location. This means that, due to the little Sevilla streets, it is difficult to get to and no parking (we drove). Got in the general area and asked a different hotel for directions. Got there, dropped off bags, and took car to lot (20 a Euros per day!). We were able to... More

The staff at Hotel Abanico was very friendly and the location was terrific. It was easy to get to the train station and a perfect location to get to all points in old town Sevilla. The advertised walking tour is not run by the hotel and does not start at the hotel. It is run by a group called Feel... More

This is a beautiful small hotel, with great service. Price is very reasonable. Location is great, within walking distance to all the major historical sites. Breakfast is great but the same every morning, boiled eggs, ham, yogurt...etc. Free coffee, hot cocoa, tea, and orange wine all day until 10pm. The guy at the front desk (didn't catch his name) was... More
