I'm not one for normally adding a review, although I do make decisions based on others reviews! As there had been a few negative reviews on this site I felt compelled to write what a wonderful find this hotel was. The staff were all very helpful, at all times. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The showers were powerful with plenty... More

Easy walking distance from Cathedral, Alcazar and other landmarks. Our room was comfortable and had a tiny balcony overlooking the street. It is a small hotel, furnished with historical pieces and adorned with flower pots. We loved the setting. It is not easy to find, and there is no parking, both of which are significant challenges. Breakfast was good and... More

We enjoyed our week in the Hotel Abanico. We got a room on the side of the hotel which was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. It was a bit dark with only one small window, but this wasn’t an issue. The bathroom was large and the room had everything you needed. The beds were firm, but not too hard. The... More

We only have one advice on this Hotel. Find another place!!! The room we got for 3 people was expensive, pitch dark (during the day or even with lights on, if they could be called lights), dingy, dated, extremely dirty floors and extra-ordinarily noisy. We asked for a better room once we saw this, but the guy in the front... More

My wife and I had booked into a garage across the street - with a garage door that was mosquito infested. In the morning we had the daunting task of trying to find alternate Accomodations. We saw Hotel Abanico across the street strolled in at 9:00 a.m. And told them of our plight. Miguel the concierge, fluent in 5 languages,... More

Just spent 3 nights here over Easter. A few minutes walk to most things but hard to find even with a map! Breakfast adequate - hard boiled eggs, bacon, beans, pastries, yoghurts, breads etc, and coffee, tea, and biscuits available all day. No bar but you can buy water, wine and beer from reception and drink in reception area. Staff... More

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked...breakfast was just ok. Free coffee always available. Definitely a good value for the money. Crossing the street to get to the hotel was a bit of an adventure!

Great hotel in perfect location for both the main historic buildings and yet only a couple of hundred metres from the main shopping centre. Built 200+ years ago around a beautiful central patio with traditional arches and glass roof. Very pleasant and helpful staff and good breakfast buffet. Ask for a back room as the front ones can be a... More

The hotel is well-located in the Barrio Santa Cruz, a short walk from the Cathedral and other main sights (if you don't get lost, which you probably will). It's in a typical Seville house with central courtyard and rooms around. The public spaces are clean and attractive, with wifi and free afternoon coffee. Our rooms were quirky--painted bright pink--spotlessly clean... More

Friendly staff, lovely old hotel, our room was comfortable with a modern bathroom though only one small window with a limited view. You need to be careful exiting the hotel due to the narrow and busy road immediately outside. I liked the neighborhood, not overly touristic yet close to shopping and a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk to the... More
