I never usually place negative feedback on Trip Advisor. I either place positive feedback or none at all. I am a retired Hotelier and National Tourism Judge so know how damaging negative feedback can be, however this has to be done. I even waited till the last day to see if my opinion mellowed. Sevilla at Easter is chaotic with... More

The hostel is nothing special in terms of ambience or decoration but the room I got, on the second floor, was a great way to feel that you're in Andalusia, with it's lovely traditional feeling. And it has a private bathroom, which for the price of the room is a real luxury. The service was good (I speak Spanish, though,... More

Private bathrooms inside rooms. It has rooms on the ground floor (I hate stairs and I don't understand people who like to ascend/descend every day). Also it has a heater/airconditioner system, so you can set a temperature in the room. For people complaining "no heating" - it is situated above the door and is regulated by a small wheel to... No heating, uncomfortable bed and disgusting bathroom with an awful smell. Try to avoid if possible. Although close the center of Seville, I just didn't enjoy the place nor the room. The bed was so uncomfortable and the bathroom just made me sick.

I'm here now....and all is good! It's not expensive, so I'm happy to be here. It's quite comfortable and the sheets are clean and there is a decent shower with hot water....And its quiet. What more do I need, when I'm tired and needing a decent nights sleep....lovely!

My wife and I booked for a three night stay in October 2013. It was only when it was too late to cancel that we read the bad reviews. We decided that if, as many reviews said, the hotel room and sheets were dirty, we would not stay. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless, and the sheets and... More

Small, back alley house converted to a small, back alley hostel. Pretty courtyard and beautifully tiled throughout. My single room was up a narrow staircase to the top (2nd) floor. There was just one other room on this floor. There was a small, high window overlooking the stairway and a narrow, barred window on the other side of the room.... More

I really liked the patio and the rooms decoration of hostal Lis, very eastern and exotic. The location is not bad, within a walking distance to the Cathedral, and within 1 minute of Metropol Parasol, which was quite an attraction to visit. The staff can try to be more kind though . Overall the room, sheets and towels didn't look... More
