Arrived here from airport just after midnight in a taxi €29. Stops in Plaza de Santa Cruz and a short walk around the corner and you're there. Good help from the receptionist especially the prompt for a free walking tour departing at 1015 from the foyer. Had room 302 on the second floor overlooking the cafe at the front and... More

The Hotel Murillo really doesn't live up to the expectations you have from viewing their website. The location is perfect amongst the quaint narrow streets of central Seville. There are a number of good Flamenco show venues close by, as well as restaurants and bars. What let's the hotel down is the tired, out-dated rooms. There's no attempt for a... More

The hotel is situated in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish Quarter, which means narrow streets, almost no cars, shady plazas, lots of tapas restaurants and friendly people. The hotel has been there since 1964 as I saw on the old photographs in the cellar where breakfast is served. Talking about the breakfast : although the hotel has... More

I stayed at one of the double standards on the ground floor. Room was as cozy as a storehouse, noisy from every side: we had noise coming from reception all night and early morning; constant noise from vending machines of coca cola next door; elevator in front and not sure what was above but they kept on moving chairs. All... More

Hotel Murillo is a great hotel in the Bario of Santa Cruz - near good tapas bars - I wouldn't bother with the breakfast - so many places to eat near by. Really clean and friendly, very helpful. Feel the City tour - is an excellent way to see the city - 2/3 hours going round the city - well... More

We stayed in hotel Murillo for a full week, during the second week of September. Our room was on the third floor, with views out on the front alley. No balcony - from what we could see, I think only the second and fourth floor have rooms with balconies. Lovely, but being here to see the city, a balcony wasn't... More

Hotel Murillo is perfectly situated in a charming quarter nearby the cathedral and city centre. The rooms are equipped functionally but comfortable, the service is reliable and friendly. We didn't test the breakfast buffet for it was much more attractive to us to start the day in one of the cosy cafes/bars in the surrounding. All in all we had... More

Considering it's a 2* hotel, it exceeded expectations. Clean and tidy, with a safe feeling to it and the surrounding area. Somewhat hard to find, like everything in this part of Seville. We had room 405, which was fairly quiet though next to the elevator. I think the terrace was directly above since you could hear lots of for traffic... More

Close to restaurants and stores, easy access to everything. Taxi drops you off outside Jewish Quarters and you walk in to a whole new world. Seville was magical and Hotel Murillo added to the magic. The rooftop bar was nice to hang out on and see the lights of the Cathedral and city. The rooms were comfortable; the air conditioning... More

This hotel is very difficult to find. The streets are a labyrinth and we walked for ages trying to find the hotel. However once you arrive it is worth the walk. The lobby is very ornate with lots of antique furniture. The rooms are quite small but comfortable. Ours looked onto a brick wall and tiny courtyard. The ones at... More
