The location of the hotel is excellent and it has all the basic facilities. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and we found the staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was perfectly satisfactory. If you can get a good deal - as we did - it's a cost-effective way to stay in the heart of the old city.

We enjoyed a very happy stay pre refurbishment some years ago but during our recent visit we felt that the heart of the place had gone. There were some pluses; the hotel is in a lovely location in the heart of the old quarter, the roof terrace gives fantastic night views of the cathedral, the rooms were clean, the reception... More

When my husband and i checked into Hotel Murillo at 2:30pm, we were told that the room wasnt ready and that we would need to wait a while. We werent happy about it at all but didnt say much. Ten minutes later, the perceptive hotel receptionist told us she had upgraded us to a room with a balcony and we... More

I hated the room - overall eventhough this hotel has some pros, we did not enjoy our stay. We stayed in early April for 3 nights - we were a family of 3 with a toddler almost at the end of our Spain trip. The biggest problem was the thermostat - it was controlled centrally so the only control you... More

Horribly thin walls, and a floor full of screaming children running unsupervised through the halls woke us up before 7 am. The desk clerk did little or nothing to solve the problem, and didn't offer so much as a free breakfast. The hotels location is excellent, but the rooms are below standard, and, while not dirty, were certainly not clean.... More

The hotel is situated in a pedestrianised area of town, close to excellent restaurants. The roof terrace is a pleasant and quiet oasis. Our room was very quiet - looked out on to a light well. Although not large, the room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous and excellent with good coffee. The staff were... More

The hotel is conveniently located near the Alcazar and the Cathedral. It may take you a while to find the hotel for the first time if you don't have a good map, however it's easy when you know the exact way to walk. The room was a decent size with a desk, chair, luggage rack, wardrobe, minibar and tv (although... More

Beautifully located in the heart of the Jewish section, comfortable rooms well equipped. Walking distance to the main highlights. Didn´t like the recommendation of the staff of flamenco and free tour, but in despite of it a good experience.

Lovely hotel in the old Jewish quarter - central to almost everything - Cathedral just a few minutes walk away. The hotel was excellent value for money... nice room and bathroom and a great terrace. The staff were very helpful and friendly.. the men on reception look a bit serious at first but once you instigate a conversation they're very... More
