A small friendly hotel with only 7 bedrooms , all named and typically Spanish. Amazing tiling and paintings. Rooms set round an interior courtyard where drinks and snacks are served. Tapas at lunch is home prepared and served by students from the attached cook school. Tasty and well presented. In the evening we had 3 course bistro dinner for €20... More

Outstanding small and historical 7-room hotel in an excellent downtown location. Spent New Year's Eve and had a remarkable "Noche Vieja" dinner prepared by attendees to the School of Gastronomy located within the hotel premises. Room ornamentation was antique, elegant and spectacular. Had a memorable end of year celebration and stay. Breakfast was nicely served with table set up awaiting... More

This restaurant, recommended by Rick Steves, is simply the best food we've eaten in Spain. It offers a 3 course luncheon fixed price meal for 14 euros (excluding wine) in an elegant and quiet atmosphere. For an entrees we had chicken stuffed with a plum filling (I think) and duck with a superb raspberry-pomegranate sauce. The deserts were heavenly. I... More

Big rooms, reasonable prices for a double use. Less reasonable if for one person but rooms and bathrooms have all amenities. Breakfast is great, really good quality and service. Also restaurant is great and good to have everything in one location.

I took two groups of 60 people to this wonderful spot for both a winetasting and dinner. Everything was brilliant. Well organised, thank you Nati Mateos Cuquerella, and totally professional. The building is a lovely Andalusian town house and our private dining took place in three interconnecting rooms upstairs. This place is a wonderful find for anyone wanting accommodation and... More

We ate a wonderful dinner at the Taberna in mid October. It ended up being the best restaurant we ate at in all of Spain! The ironic part, however, is that this is a FRENCH restaurant! Quite frankly, most of the food in Spain is quite monotonous. You can have tapas, ham, or tapas. Did I mention tapas? The Spanish... More

I have stayed here with my girlfriend, we had the granada room and we liked it a lot. The bed was probably the biggest bed I have ever seen in my life. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We looked for a hotel close to the city centre and this hotel was perfectly located, 5mins walk to the cathedral and... More

We stayed in this hotel for four nights in June 2015. There are only about a half dozen rooms , each given a name. We stayed in the Granada room on the third floor. The building is organized around a central open atrium-like area with a café on the ground floor. The second floor is a restaurant connected to a... More

We fell in love with the hotel/restaurant. I unfortunately was not able to stay my whole stay because i fell on the second floor and broke my knee. Before that accident the hotel was fabulous. After the accident, i had to stay in the hospital and the staff was extremely gracious with my wife, They let her stay one day... More

The Taberna is not your typical hotel. It is small, only 10 rooms, with a beautiful Spanish court separating the levels. The furniture is elegant and comfortable, the staff well trained, polite and friendly, the food is exceptionally good. I would return there any day and highly recommend it to travellers who are considering visiting Sevilla. The Taberna is central... More
