My husband and I just returned from a trip to Sevilla where we stayed at the Hospes Hotel. The other reviews posted on TripAdvisor regarding this hotel are pretty accurate in our opinion. The location of the hotel wasn't great. I had been to Sevilla years before and couldn't remember the area of town in which we should stay. I... more

We stayed at Las Casas del Rey de Baeza in September 2008 for two nights whilst touring Andalucia. It was very private and we enjoyed the tranquility. We felt as if we were in an apartment but with all facilities available at a 4* hotel. The staff were helpful and polite and assisted us with any requests. The bed was... more

I stayed at the hotel three nights earlier in May. Having just come from the sister Hospes property in Cordoba, I must say at first I was a bit disappointed. This is not a trendy, crisply renovated new hotel. Rather, this is really a traditional white Sevillan house with courtyards and orange trees. The room was quite big and the... more

We spent two nights at the hotel in July. In contrast to other reviewers, we found the staff accommodating and friendly and the hotel itself quite comfortable, although maybe more 3-star than 4. Nonetheless, the traditional architecture and courtyards were very pleasant and the common rooms were lovely. The pool, though small, was more than adequate for cooling off and... more

My girlfriend and I, selected this hotel as the base for a 4 day summer break to relax and explore the city of Seville with the facilities available and close proximity to the city´s tourist sites being the principle attractions. With the anticipation of a summer break growing, I decided to visit the trip advisor site, mainly to take a... more

We've returned from a week's stay at this hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly attentive and went out of there way to make our stay memorable. We had a room on the side of the hotel which was ideal as it was very quiet. I imagine if you had rooms overlooking the... more

We stayed for one night in May 2008. Admittedly we drove to the hotel which is not the best way to stay at this hotel for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it's really hard to find and it's not obvious at all from the directions the hotel gives you. It's really tucked away in a one-way back-street which admittedly is... more

I've never been compelled to write a review until now. Stay as far away from this hotel as you can. The staff was rude, the rooms are small and dark, the location is scarry. Go elsewhere. The best part of our stay was the buffet breakfast. more

I came to this hotel to organise a conference. Lovely staff, good attention to detail. The look of this hotel is great - a lovely courtyard to relax in, lovely bedrooms and amazing suites. The thing that really let this place down was the food. Breakfast was good, but lunches were pretty awful. Weird concoctions, that didn't fill a gap... more

The Las Casas del Rey de Baeza is a very well-maintained boutique property on a small side street, located about a 15-20 minute walk from the central shopping area and the old town center. Additionally, taxis in Seville are plentiful and relatively inexpensive (compared to Rome and a lot of other places), so if the walk doesn't suit you, that's... more
