This hotel is perfectly designed for hot Seville summers, with a shady courtyard and a small pool for cooling off. The free flamenco dancing in the evening was a pleasant surprise as well. Good service, and the rooms are spotlessly clean and modern. The only drawback is that it is quite a distance from the "downtown" area. If you like... More

Stayed here Sunday to Thursday in a room overlooking the Courtyard, which others have stated is a lovely shaded area with orange trees and tables where you can enjoy your meals or drinks from the bar. We were on the third floor and would probably have found things slightly noisier if staying on a lower level. The roof top pool... More

Just back from Hotel San Gil and can thoroughly recommend it for a mini-break. Temperature was 37 degrees for each of the three days we were there, but the lovely shaded courtyard and air-conditioned rooms made you barely notice it, and walking through La Macarena district was very pleasant, the high sided narrow streets offering shade for much of the... We stayed in the Hotel San Gil in Sevilla at the end of June for 3 nights. We stayed 2 additional hotels on this trip, one in Malaga and one in Madrid so can do some comparisons. All were similarly priced, and each had their goods and bads. There were 3 of us in the triple room – my wife... More

The hotel is neat and clean, and in a good location, with the centre of Seville and sights a pleasant walk away. The lobby and reception have wonderful tiles and an original, older feel to it. There is a small but good pool on the roof too, with a sunbathing area and sun chairs too. One downside when we were... More

The hotel itself is OK. There's a pool on top of the building which is nice, and its situation in Seville is pretty central. Finding a place to park on the street is like gold dust but you can pay extra to the hotel to use their car park. The real problem with the hotel is the totally indifferent attitude... More

We were greeted by a sour-faced receptionist after a long road trip and some difficulty in finding this hotel, which is in an old part of Sevilla consisting of narrow streets and tight corners. The real problem, however, was the dreadful noise at night. I really can't understand how a hotel can get something basic so wrong. One goes to... More

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Seville's old town; it's a rather unique combination of old and modern. The lobby and breakfast areas are in the older part of the building (likely turn of the 19th century) but the rooms and the swimming pool and the inner courtyard are completely modern (nicely done). Our room was a nicely... More

This hotel is surprising. On the street it looks like an old hotel, but once past the facade, it opens into a modern hotel. The rooms were excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and did not hesitate to assist. It has an open central courtyard where, of an evening, we were entertained by a flamenco troupe, at no cost.... More

This was a beautiful hotel with a lot of old charm and newly built amenities. Great court yard. roof top pool and sunbathing area was greatly welcomed during those hot Seville days. Loved the neighbourhood. Great local feel and wonderful bakeries, shops and restaurants. Transit close by that easily bring you to all the sites. A little hard to find... More
