Recently spent four nights at this hotel. On paper it sounded quirky, charming and atmospheric. Unfortunately, we found it rather tired and in need of a lot of TLC! The bedroom furniture was described as classic, but it was just very old. Our bed squeaked at every turn.. There were lovely courtyards to sit in, but rarely staff to provide... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Casas de la Juderia. The complex continuously surprises with new hidden courtyards and stairwells, and we loved how much of the room and the building seemed original and preserved. The rooftop pool with tapas/snacks was divine. Central location was amazing.Wifi was intermittent -- our only complaint.

Overall we had a great time and no substantial complaints. Would definitely stay there again. Arrival: Challenging arrival and we did not get specific instructions on how to arrive by car. Since the hotel is located in a very old part of town the streets in the final mile were very narrow and not well marked. We missed a turn... More

Old building, full of character and wonderfully situated. we walked everywhere for 4 days. staff attitude was friendly and professional. there were however, some major issues:- our bathroom was very tired. sink was loose against the wall, other fittings broken or lost. no extractor fan. ingrained dirt. bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable I have slept in for a... We scrutinised the reviews before picking this hotel but decided to give it a try. We were glad that we did. We booked a double superior room for three nights and stayed in room 23. Initially I was concerned by the noise levels as we were right by the kitchen, this wasn't a problem as the noise wasn't too distracting,... More

The layout is really interesting and we had a good standard room that was roomy and high quality. Good position to walk everywhere. The rooftop area with pool is a great asset on hot days and after walking. The courtyard is good for drinks but would recommend skipping the breakfast which is in a soulless cellar and not great quality.... More

All reviews of this hotel comment on the quirky nature and they are right. The hotel looks ordinary from the street but step inside and go back in time. Getting to your room the first time requires help (there are no guide maps) but fortunately our room was near the entrance. Room was quite small but very comfortable bed and... More

Our tour leader kept telling us before we arrived that this hotel was good but quirky in design. Upon arrival this was made clear by the labyrinth to get to the rooms and breakfast room which was essentially underground it what seemed like ancient roman catacombs. Once these 'quirky' aspects are put aside, the location is great to get around... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful courtyards, a warren of paths and just what you would expect from a hotel of this age. Our room was cool, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large and we had a fabulous shower. Service and food excellent. If you want modern and plastic then book yourself somewhere else but if you want to... More
