Las Casas de la Juderia could potentially be a place of great charm and character but simply misses the point. The Reception staff is scruffy and unfriendly. The rooms are old and run down and in dire need of refurbishment. The price does not reflect the standard of the hotel. One of our rooms was very small and claustrophobic and... More

This hotel is a perfectly-preserved time capsule. It encompasses many adjacent former luxurious homes, so it is a bit confusing to get around at first. But getting lost in the hotel is a great way to see off that it has to offer. It is centrally located on a street with plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a... More

My husband took me to Seville for my 60th birthday. We stayed at this hotel and loved it. It was quite unique. We had a lovely big room with 2 beds, bathroom with 2 sinks and a bath, toilet and beday and a seperate shower. It was very clean and room service was good. The thing I like most was... More

We found this a quirky hotel made up of a number of buildings joined by courtyards, passages and tunnels. Our room was good but others we spoke to had quite varied experiences. The location is very good being close to the cathedral, shopping streets and many eating opportunities. However we found it just as easy to get lost outside the... More

I booked for an engagment trip a suite for 4 nights. The hotel is charming, but avoid suites! All suites are opposite a noisy place during the night (drunk people, cleaning early in the morning). The room was not really cleaned up. A major buld in the bathroom was broken. After 4 nights and asking at the reception, nothing change.... More

A really positive experience. Nice location, excellent athmosphere and good quality for money. A visit of two nights in November was something that we remember for a long time.We will come back when we visit Seville the next time.

Pros: 1) Want Spanish charm? This hotel has it. Look at the pictures; they speak for themselves. 2) Tapas restaurants directly across street (street = size of alley) 3) 10-minute walk (if you know exactly where you're going) to Cathedral and Alcazar 4) Helpful staff 5) Big breakfast buffet (currently 14 Euros) Cons: 1) Just like the Santa Cruz neighborhood... This hotel is a ver safe bet if you are looking, for a clean and modest place near all tourist attractions. i got room 74 and not sure if by coincidence or not, but the bath floor tiles were always warm and soothing for your feet. during winter this is a great perk, during summer not so sure.

I was concerned by the absolute split in these Trip Adviser reviews between lovers and haters and wondered what we had booked. Well, put me (and husband) firmly on the side of the lovers! Perhaps we were lucky as our room was huge, with a large, modern bathroom and loo. Getting lost amid the tangled little alleyways and courtyards full... More

Its age and the unique amalgam of old houses gives this hotel a unique character. Its location, in the heart of the Santa Cruz barrio, could not be bettered. The tunnel, the colourful courtyards are the exact opposite of the faceless corridors of so many modern hotels. As soon as we parked the car on the narrow road outside, we... More
