We booked our stay at the Alfonso online after exhaustive consideration with the other area hotels. The location and the distinctiveness of the hotel tipped the scale to it being our choice. The internet rates were varied and curious at best. We booked a superior room with a balcony, it was a little bit more money. it was very generous... more

As a dedicated STARWOOD member ( of which this hotel is a part of--within the LUXURY Collection) I was very disappointed across many aspects. The room we were placed in had a leaking pipe in the ceiling. Finding this at 11.00pm at night the front desk moved us into what was without a doubt the most patheticand dirty room in... more

Seville was the second stop on our trip to Spain. We booked a Grand Deluxe room (230) that was advertised a 41 square meters. While technically I suppose that was true, the room had a very long entry way that took about 15 square meters. The really funny part is that the front part of the hallway was just large... more

We have stayed in a Suite - what we have been through in 2 days you can just imagine: 1. when we enter we got a wet wall with water on the floor 2. when we went sleeping the elevator made so much noise we couldn't sleep 3. We got stuck in the elevator twice! 4. next day they have... more

I stayed at Alfonso XIII because it was said to be the best hotel in Andalucia, a landmark in Seville. Well it definetely is, the architecture is splendid, and the location superb. As a SPG Platinum member, I was luckily upgraded to a suite at check-in, which was a nice surprise -even if I had redeemed Star points for my... more

The hotel itself is an art. The building is gorgeous. You feel like you are entering a small palace. The room is an old style, very roomy, and very clean. There is no coffee/tea maker in the room. We stayed there for 3 nights. In the morning/afternoon, the sounds of ambulance/police car with the sirene on can be really annoying.... more

Ups! An absolutely brilliant hotel. The hotel is located within a minute’s walk of the Real Alcazar in the centre of Seville, next to the University. Corner deluxe room very very spacious and luxurious with wide opening windows and view across the Alcazar and University to the gardens and the main Cathedral/Basilica Pool facilities excellent and a real pleasure to... more

I stayed at Alfonso XIII Hotel for 3 nights on vacation in September. The hotel has a lot of charm and character from the gorgeous decor, old-fashion elevators, to beautiful patio. The staff was fairly attentive, courteous and helpful. The pool was a huge plus for the hot afternoons. The rooms were spacious but very outdated. The couches, bed and... more
