We spent 4 nights in the Alfonso xiii and didn't want to leave! The hotel was superb and hasn't yet succumbed to the commercialised blandness of some hotel chains. If you want 5 star glitz then this is not the place for you but if you want 5 star traditional luxury in an authentic Andalucían style then you will love... more

We went for our honeymoon and it was absolutely stunning!!!! The location can't be beat and it's in walking distance of everything! The rooms were out of this world as was the breakfast buffet! The staff spoke several languages and were extremely helpful. They were very polite, friendly and respectful. The pool was gorgeous! It seriously felt like we were... more

Having never spent $400 on a hotel stay before, I expected much more for the amount I was paying. This historic hotel is fabulous, spacious, and the breakfast buffet was extensive. Its one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. However, the room was a standard size, nothing spectacular. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also,... more

The Alfonso XIII is a fantastic property built in the 20's with a Moorish exotic feel. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Our rooms were fantastic with a fully equiped bathroom. The blow dryer was inadequate and they were glad to send a fully operating one quickly. The restaurant was a wonderful experience. The food was perfectly prepared and... more

Spent two nights in early June in this wonderful hotel and would love to go back. Weather was very hot during our stay but had no problem keeping the room cool even during the hottest part of the afternoon. The electric shutters come down and the room is dark and cool even during the hottest part of the afternoon. We... more

Also a great location. The courtyard dining is spectacular The marble & tile work continues into the guest rooms, but they are a bit on the underfurnished side. Large and clean, though. The pool is a nice asset, but it is located next to a pretty busy street and is not especially large. And Seville is a remarkable city. more

We arrived on the 27th of May and spent two nights at the Alfonso XIII. My wife loved it and hated to leave. I thought the location was great, an easy walk to all the sites. It was unseasonably hot while we were in Seville, highs of about 37 or 38 every day but the AC in the kept the... more

We spent 2 nights here in May and would highly recommend this hotel. It really is an oasis in the middle of the beautiful city of Seville. Our room was very clean and well furnished, the bed comfortable and the outside space was wonderful. It was great to return at midday and chill by the pool. The only negative would be... more

The Hotel Alfonso is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Seville. We were in old town and walking distance from just about anything a tourist might want to do. The service was friendly and helpful. The concierge booked a Flamenco show for us and we had the best seats in the house. The rooms themselves were spacious by... more

I loved this hotel! The rooms were spacious and had great views overlooking a park. The staff was great. The location was perfect . . . we could walk to everything . . .The Cathedral, Santa Cruz, Plaza De Espana and more; we never had to use a taxi or public transportation. They had a great outdoor bar, a nice... more
